Yes, but it’s more than that. Like the tobacco industry, the processed food companies use dyes and chemicals designed to create addiction to a product. In fact, according to RFK Jr, the same scientists employed by big tobacco were hired by food manufacturers after the tobacco companies began purchasing food companies. The motivation was to literally create addiction to their food like substances laced with poisons. They did this to make up for lost revenue, after tobacco demand went down. Its absolutely diabolical.
You must be referencing the fact that the tobacco industry only allowed everybody to think or only promoted that it was falsely nicotine that was addicting, while the industry added a totally different chemical that they knew caused addiction that was not related to nicotine in the slightest. I can't remember the name of that chemical. Was that chemical ever listed as a cigarette ingredient? Is that chemical being listed as a food ingredient?
I am aware of that and so is most of the world, but still some smoke, so even though people "woke" up to the poison, it doesn't mean the motivation won't be there to find another way to poison us.
Of course, people can justify a behavior for any reason at any time; even if it means doing self harm. And there will always be predatory corporations putting out ‘feel good poisons’ to make a buck. But by focusing on the worst actors of capitalism and the harm they bring, it raises awareness and diminishes the damage within the population. I grew up when smoking was practically expected. It was almost considered ‘more of a vice’ if a person didn’t habitually light up. People were often ostracized because they didn’t have the habit. But - we finally turned that around and have control of the narrative. If as citizens we hold our representatives and federal agencies to account, we will return the United States to a healthy population once again. However - this MAHA movement is not a vicarious process. We cannot just leave it all up to Robert Kennedy Jr to bail us out of this capitalist poison madness, we ALL must consistently raise our voice and demand meaningful action.
I applaud the lawmakers behind this tremendous initiative. Let’s be honest: what right minded person wouldn’t be for such legislation? Answer: Those connected to the chemical companies whom manufacture the addictive substances, along with companies seeking to add revenue by adding addictive chemicals to processed eatable items. I cannot fathom how a corporation that wants to be seen as ethical, would allow these poisons into their manufacturing process? But, human health typically takes a back seat to profits, in these United States. And thus, these sinister titans of capitalism willingly bribe our elected representatives to water down or stall these bills as a matter of having warped principles. So, of course, the public is for laws to remove addictive chemicals from ‘food like substances’ - WE MUST PUSH the politicians. When all is said and done, I really can’t wrap my head around is the fact ‘we have to fight tooth and nail to get POISON OUT of FOOD?!’
I wish the news would cover all the names of who votes for and against bills so that we would know where our elected politicians voted. That is a critical detail that is being left out of the news, and I think when we unsubscribe or mention articles, we should make mention of the quality of news reporting based on the most simplest name identification available to all reporters.
Wow, this demonstrates that people are not indifferent about their food choices, as some may believe—many genuinely care about what they consume, highlighting the importance of education in shaping these preferences. If this bill passes, it could be a significant step toward healthier food options for the community. Go, RFK Jr. and the people of West Virginia!
Sure, these are good ideas. However, this is just low-hanging fruit. Until RFK, Jr. / Trump end the Prep Act, end the EUA bullshit, defund/destroy all of the biolabs, stop funding all the mRNA crap, I’m not impressed. Weeds must be dug out by the roots. This is just trimming a bit around the edges. I see the hand of Big Food, Big Agriculture, Big Pharma and the Military Industrial a complex controlling the current administration…as has always been the case for many decades now. Bitterly disappointing.
They’re making some strategic plays right now. Can you imagine being one of the few politicians who voted AGAINST this bill? They’re circling the wagons and they’ll be squeezing down other more significant issues soon enough. Patience.
It is a deep tunnel to walk, but this is far more productive than previous smokescreen. We can help the effort by writing to support these same efforts in our own states!
That is good for WV, but Florida doing it is kind of a joke on one hand. They are pushing for legislation to protect Monsanto pesticides at the same time. You are either for healthy or not for people. GA already passed their legislation. Lots of states are in the big pharma/big ag cycle.
As far as all that research for individualized mRNA to supposedly try to heal chronic illness, the Jerusalem Paper on its medical and science pages covers it in detail in English. It is unethical and immoral and can only harm what has been perfectly created by our Creator.
Keep it up MAHA! Pretty soon people will really wake up to what poison we have put in our bodies!

We lived in WV for over 25 years. Way to go, Mountaineers!! Take back your health. It also ranks very high in Autism rates. 🤞 Good luck!🍀
Wow! Way to go WV. I live in MN. What are we famous for: glyphosate and hybridized wheat.
Let’s go West Virginia, Mountain Mama, Take Me Home, Country Roads!!!
So grateful for MAHA..
wooo hooo
Thank you for this great reporting!

If one more person tells me “patience”…🙄
Understand where you’re coming from but it’s only been 2 months!!
Yeah, it’s been two months. So what are they waiting for?

Progress is so *slow*.
