I applaud the lawmakers behind this tremendous initiative. Let’s be honest: what right minded person wouldn’t be for such legislation? Answer: Those connected to the chemical companies whom manufacture the addictive substances, along with companies seeking to add revenue by adding addictive chemicals to processed eatable items. I cannot fathom how a corporation that wants to be seen as ethical, would allow these poisons into their manufacturing process? But, human health typically takes a back seat to profits, in these United States. And thus, these sinister titans of capitalism willingly bribe our elected representatives to water down or stall these bills as a matter of having warped principles. So, of course, the public is for laws to remove addictive chemicals from ‘food like substances’ - WE MUST PUSH the politicians. When all is said and done, I really can’t wrap my head around is the fact ‘we have to fight tooth and nail to get POISON OUT of FOOD?!’
