Mr. Conte, the part of your article that stood out to me was where you wrote of the people of our country being broken. That is what I see all around me. People are fearful and angry, which also stems from fear. When we are in constant emotional states we lose our ability to see reality for what it is. Our senses become dull. Add that to being in constant motion and the ability to reconcile those emotions is impossible. But it is the releasing of those emotions that brings clarity and flow to life. The thing is that like children needing attention, emotions will intensify until their get their due regard. So as things blow up around us, (i.e. the news, and "negative commenters"), let's keep the faith, and count our blessings that the old, divisive, power and control is in the death throes, keeping our hearts open for all the souls who recognize a true leader has come to gather his legion for unity and positive change.

I have no faith in humanity- there is no trust left in me. Too many ways to lie and appear to be truthful. I had held a little hope when I say how together Dems and Reps were on Monday with the hearing, but lost it when watching todays with the FBI hearing how they are not focused on the assassination attempt but are now talking about all other partisan things. Disheartening and over all of it. Not sure how we can sustain this level of distrust.

The fact that you saw the parties unite was hope, so it's not gone. Not that you asked, but when I realized I only had to trust myself, (my choices, the boundaries I set, the relationships I chose), to keep myself safe, my values intact, my actions aligned with my character, I then attracted trustworthy people. I could see that there are more trustworthy people and the systems of corruption are no longer holding together. It takes time to undo the belief that others are like or can be different from the role models in our early lives. Hang in there, the miracle always comes after much labor and pain (a birth reference).

I believe wholeheartedly that there is going to be a huge change. HUGE. And it will get worse before it gets better. I appreciate your perspective, thank you!

The dishonest media is ruining this country. Kennedy is right on so many levels.

Bobby has known the truth about most things for a very long time. The political powers that be are terrified of him getting a microphone in his hand.

Funny thing about having "Kennedy" as a last name... the powers that be tend to get nervous!

To me, a signature sign that American democracy is on life support is the simple fact that RFK Jr. is being blocked from public view in the media that the Boomer generation still heavily favours, and that he is being blocked from public debate with other presidential candidates. How can the American public know whom to favour with their vote if they don’t hear from all candidates, without the corrupt filter of mainstream media?

Nailed it. This is precisely the problem.

The major parties are literally, by law and tax status, corporations. The DNC inc. operates as such and shareholders(or delegates) nominate the leadership. People who are in the party can voice and opinion but the delegates are essentially told what to do. Kamala, as usual, is a figurehead. I remember my neighbor saying that Kamala was always handled by three men when she was the states attorney. Essentially being groomed in this long game. She is very little of a platform except for the converse shoes she prefers to wear. For the life of me I don't know if she believes in any particular issue or has an opinion except what's given to her.

Our national problem accurately defined. Thank you, Mr. Kennedy!

Kamala's core ability to utter strings of vapid banalities isn't going to get the democrats or the country anywhere other than that it will accelerate the downward spiral.

Louis Conte -

Many thanks for your discerning and well-expressed essays during this unimaginable time in America's history! In my view, RFK, Jr. is our ideal candidate because he's extremely intelligent, has a dazzling grasp of the our country's corrosive issues, and is committed to "liberty and justice for all" while militarists and corporations and the MSM ignore the U.S. Constitution. Kennedy has dignity, compassion, and courage - qualities sucked out of Americans' life in recent decades by shoddy showmen and professional profiteers. But there are more of us than of them.! We the People must take action. Instead of remaining mute, we should be calling out newspapers and TV stations on their failure to provide us our guaranteed right to a free press. On my computer, I have a list of about fifteen Boston Globe writers to whom I sometimes send my objections because the paper has published TEN hit pieces on Kennedy! Let's have an uprising against the anti-democratic MSM.

PS I'm extremely uneasy - and mystified - about Kennedy's failure to deplore the part our country has played in the genocide of the Palestinian people!

It's amazing to think of the Boston Globe doing hit pieces on a Kennedy. Must have been so hard for them. I don't have any proof, but I heard they had a meeting at the WH to discuss the reporting on when Ted was expelled from Harvard for cheating. Front page (too big a story to avoid that), but below the fold so it wouldn't be seen in the window of the old newspaper boxes and when displayed in news stands.

We've been saying this since 2020! Give me a break. The Dems are openly Marxist and hate our Constitution, please wake up before it's too late.

Certainly, the Democratic Party is captured by ideology. No doubt. On the other hand, the American People, no matter their political leanings, are far more intelligent and capable than we often give them credit for. Once you see through the partisan illusion, solutions flow.

I disagree on one point: part of the problem is that the Dem no longer HAVE an ideology. it looks more like power for power's sake, at the behest of globalist oligarchs. cancellation & nullification of opposition is not an 'ideology', its just a tactic.

when so-called Democrats started supporting a corporate 'parent company', sending jobs overseas, destroying the middle class, lusting for endless wars and stoking division... that's no liberal ideology that I ever heard of. its not even a conservative ideology. its just 'money = power'. I don't even hear ANY of them mention the lives of average citizens. nope, its all about 'orange man bad', 'rural white rage', 'institutional racism'...

'save democracy' by essentially throwing it under the bus... yeah. okay. whomever is falling for that, THEY are the scary ones.

That's what we are worried about. With Dems it is always, "We're gonna...." But they never or seldom get anything worthwhile accomplished, and usually break stuff (Afghanistan).

I don't see why everyone is so concerned about them hijacking the nomination process?

What they did to Bernie Sanders in 2016 is well documented. In 2020 Biden had numbers that would entice most candidates to drop out (4th place, 5th place, barely above "other" and a very distant 2nd, less than half of Sanders votes) in the first 3 contests and then gets one inspirational speech and steamrolls the rest of the way (yeah, OK). This year they did everything they could, including lawsuits, to keep Biden from having any competition.

Yeah, I really don't see where the surprise is.

Tucker told the public about Biden BEFORE Biden ran the last time. "On FOX news". We've all known for a long time and were also aware of the Gaslighting.

What if Biden's decline is not because of age, but because of all the vaccine and booster shots he's had?

Wouldn't it be great if Kennedy could get his message about chronic health problems and vaccines out to the world? I think he could by teaming up with Dr. Bryan Ardis and getting Biden to wear a nicotine patch for a week. It would be a win-win!!

What we should understand is that the media sees its best option for survival as a viable business entity in its role as political kingmakers. It is a desperate strategy to remain relevant in a media world that's losing its struggle to make money in a new technological era. "You can't ignore us - we can elect (i.e., control the fate of) the POTUS!"
