Jews have had a continuous presence in the land of Israel since the time of Abraham, almost 4000 years ago. Israel has a right to exist, and a right to defend itself. Hamas is full of terrorists who wish to see nothing less than the full destruction of Israel and the Jewish people, "from the river to the sea". There is absolutely no excuse for targeting, kidnapping, torturing, and killing civilians, and then parading their bodies around like some kind of animals. I sincerely pray that RFK, Jr. can acquire the knowledge, and understanding regarding the history of this 120 year old conflict between Israel and Palestinians. That doesn't condone the Hamas attack on Israel, which is atrocious and unprecedented. But we need a president who is empathetic and wise to each side, while staying neutral. Politically, that may not be possible, but for the sake of humanity, it is critically necessary to create peace on earth.
I found the Chris Hedges post to be disgusting. He continues to side as a Palestinian apologist who occasionally drops some pro Israel crumbs just so that he isn’t labeled a full throated anti-semite.
There is no excuse for barbarians or barbarianism, period. Those that use baboon tactics do not deserve life on this planet. Of course, this gov will not raise its voice to condemn the source of wild monkey behavior. Lacking such principle, eventually it too will succomb.
RFK Jr. recently called the Palestinian retaliatory attack on Israel: Unprovoked and barbaric. Much as I love RFK Jr. this is totally delusional. Heavens knows the Palestinians had plenty of reasons and a right to fight back after what they have been put through by Apartheid Israel.
Unfortunately many innocents on both sides will suffer horribly.
I've been waiting anxiously for today to come. Didn't expect an invasion of Israel over the weekend, though. Unfortunately, we can expect the usual sources to say that Kennedy not postponing his announcement today proves he is an anti-Semite.
