In this hit piece, David Freedlander minimizes censorship and apologizes for those who have perpetrated it. He clearly supports the Biden administration’s censorship regime: “I tried to point out that there really is no government censorship as commonly defined—that the government neither really coerces nor threatens private citizens or businesses. As for his complaint that the government sometimes flags information on social media platforms as incorrect, after which those platforms remove certain posts, I suggested that presumably the government has as much right to flag suspect content as any other entity, that no one was being killed or imprisoned for their statements or their views and that in fact there were more avenues to reach more people now than ever before.” – Censored? There are times when yours truly really has to exercise discipline about what to address in the News Round Up. There is a significant amount of crazy stuff on the internet. When I first heard about Hillary Clinton’s interview with Christiane Amanpour in which she referred to Trump supporters as being in a “MAGA cult” and needing “formal deprogramming,” my first thought was that this had to be a joke.

Ms. Amanpour, the interviewer, chuckled and nodded. CNN ran the interview without commenting about how a leading voice in the Democratic Party suggested that millions of American citizens need “deprogramming.”

The media aligned with the DNC mentioned Clinton’s comments in passing but, as of this writing, offered no criticism of them. There is increasing evidence that the Democratic Party is headed toward authoritarianism. The Democratic Party I have been a member of for years would never call for deprogramming critics, would never embrace censorship, and would certainly never put forth the notion of detention for people suspected of having a virus. What has happened to the Democratic Party? Is RFK Jr. leaving the Democratic Party, or have they left him?

Jews have had a continuous presence in the land of Israel since the time of Abraham, almost 4000 years ago. Israel has a right to exist, and a right to defend itself. Hamas is full of terrorists who wish to see nothing less than the full destruction of Israel and the Jewish people, "from the river to the sea". There is absolutely no excuse for targeting, kidnapping, torturing, and killing civilians, and then parading their bodies around like some kind of animals.
