Saturday News Round Up — RFK Jr. Continues to Reach across the Divide by Drawing on Commonsense Policies
“What America needs right now is a leader who isn’t wedded to the ideology of either party, so he can draw the best from both, and more importantly, from outside of either.” - RFK Jr.
RFK Jr. has taken positions that some consider to be liberal and that some consider to be conservative. Here are Kennedy’s thoughts on positions he has taken over the years:
In this X message, RFK Jr. states his position on the Second Amendment:
Kennedy will tell you that he has changed his positions on different issues over the years. His overriding principle is that he will follow the Constitution and “Give you back the America that was taken from you.”
Targeted Community Repair kerfuffle:
“My policy of Targeted Community Repair is not the same as race-based reparations,” Kennedy wrote. “The program will make capital and resources available to the poorest and most desperate communities in America. These include inner cities, the rust belt, Appalachia, the devastated towns of the farm belt, etc. Yes, because Black people are disproportionately poor, this program will benefit them disproportionately. But the criteria will be indicators like poverty, addiction rates, violence, etc. Not skin color.” – RFK Jr. Makes Waves in the GOP After Claim He Supports Reparations | Newsweek

Focus on the unfair attacks on RFK Jr. – RFK Jr.’s Anti-Vax Orgs Are Being Funded by Major Charities | Rolling Stone. As I mentioned, the AP article attacking Kennedy a few days ago as “anti-vaccine” was the first phase of a scheduled series of hit pieces against him. This is Rolling Stone pretending to do investigative journalism when they are really reciting DNC attack points. In the old days, Rolling Stone would have broken significant news and covered important controversies on vaccine safety, as Mary Holland at Children’s Health Defense does here: Pfizer Lied, People Died: Whistleblower Case Update + Legal Panel | Children’s Health Defense. Rolling Stone should be ashamed of devolving into a Pharma echo chamber.
