I can't get my head around the non-sentence beginning the second paragraph of this essay: "Robert Kennedy Jr.’s secret search for the truth about the assassination of his brother, President John F. Kennedy."

Otherwise, a most enlightening essay and a fitting tribute to the venerable Peter Dale Scott.

Most intriguing is his opinion that RFK, Jr. should build his party during this election to become a revolutionary party in the next election, after the culture has hopefully changed enough to reverse the coup of 1963. For me, that means Kennedy needs a come-to-Jesus realization of the true meaning of his father's and uncle's opposition to Israel over the atom bomb, Palestinian return, and the Israel lobby's registration as a foreign agent. The only trouble with that is the wait is killing in body and soul.

Living in Berkeley myself, I am shocked how many politically progressive people have totally lost their radical edge and have begun to believe almost everything that their government is telling them about the pandemic. It is refreshing that Peter Dale Scott is not one of those progressives who has lost his edge. And it was great to read Peter's perspective on Noam Chomsky...and how and why we all must question Noam's leadership in politically progressive work.

Good, interesting interview. I hadn't considered the aspect of Bobby not having a party behind him, and the importance of that. However, the appeal of Bobby for many people including myself is that he is independant, not bound by party politics. I'm so sick of party politics and the allegiance to the party even in the face of their own corruption. Bobby's campaign and hopefully his victory in November, is a historic opportunity in the political landscape of this country. Isn't that what we want? Many people fear change, they would rather have what they know than risk entering the unknown. People change only when the fear of staying the same is greater than the fear of change. I believe enough people have reached that threshold.

Go Bobby!

The problem with Bobby is the utterly insane things he’s said about the Palestinians - truly nut-job allegations (on the level of what the smear artists have to say about him regarding his vaccine stances.) I was more than open to his candidacy until he started insisting Israel isn’t an apartheid state, and making claims that the PLO and Hamas have a bounty program to kill Jews world-wide paid for by US tax dollars. These were claims from his own mouth, rather that other saying this is what he said...

This sudden pro-Israel narrative came about after he’s made some unfortunate remarks about Covid not impacting Ashkenazi Jews and was accused of being an anti-semite.

So, either he is telling outrageous lies to appease AIPAC and ingratiate himself to the Jewish community which is indicative of an appalling lack of character - or he honestly believes that there is shady cabal of Palestinian operatives traveling the world assasinating Jewish people at 10k a pop (and which is being kept secret by the news media) - in which case the allegations that he’s off his rocker appear to be true.

This makes me sad, because I really wanted to believe in him.

Thank you for your response. I have heard Bobby speak on many subjects but not on the conflict between Israel and Palestine. I was aware of the antisemitism he was accused of a few months ago and it did feel like he over reacted to the situation. I admit I'm not well informed on the politics in the middle east. I've always found it challenging to get clear on what is really

happening over there. So much hatred fuels the conflict and there are many extremists that want Israelis killed. Bobby makes so much sense on many issues I care about, it's hard for me to imagine that he's so off the deep end on Israel. If you have a link to anything that may enlighten me, please share.

There is no other candidate that inspires me except Bobby. He is courageous, intelligent and not beholden to any corporate interests. I believe he truly cares for people.

He had a couple of appearances on 'Breaking Points' (YouTube) where he spoke for himself... he really went off the deep end on this issue, and it's an issue that is really important to me.

I really wanted to believe in him. I did. My vote is now with Cornel West - because I just cannot vote for Biden, and will not vote for Trump.

I saw one of those interviews and honestly the interviewer was so combative, it was challenging to hear what Bobby was saying. He was clearly quite frustrated and a little riled up. I will definitely learn more about Israel and Palestine so I can make more of an informed opinion. I've heard enough though to understand that it is complex and finding out the real truth of the conflict may be difficult. In Trish Wood's podcast yesterday with CJ Hopkins they touched on the subject and I felt he made some interesting statements. I will be following both of them for their talking points on world politics.

Listen to the second interview. Krystal got smacked down for being so combative (and rude) - and he was invited back. She let him speak the second time - he was better off when he was being talked over.

Enjoyable article - I agree this may not be the time for Kennedy and yet his message is sooo important at this this time to be heard but I am not giving up and I believe in miracles :)

Professor Scott is a true polymath, the last of his kind within the earth-bound community of souls who seek to define and effect justice for JFK and all those collaterally damaged by his assassins.

The late, eternal Professor George Michael Evica can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with PDS. But all too soon we will be left leaderles on this planet.

The air is dank with the stink of the poseurs.

"I could go on and on and on about this, all this fuss now about truth and propaganda, about “fake facts” and so on. The truth is, we’ve been living with “fake facts” ever since the Warren Report. The Warren Report is so phony that even some of the men who drafted it, and signed it, didn’t believe it! Some were quite vocal about it. They were signing a fake document. To believe the Warren Report you have to believe that one bullet was able to cause seven wounds in two different people, hit a bone, and then fall unscathed onto a stretcher. It’s all in the report. And if you believe that, you’re nuts."

Good practice for 9-11 Report story of 3 buildings collapsing at free fall speed from 2 planes and a passport from the perpetrators found in the debris.. tradition endures!
