Living in Berkeley myself, I am shocked how many politically progressive people have totally lost their radical edge and have begun to believe almost everything that their government is telling them about the pandemic. It is refreshing that Peter Dale Scott is not one of those progressives who has lost his edge. And it was great to read Peter's perspective on Noam Chomsky...and how and why we all must question Noam's leadership in politically progressive work.

I can't get my head around the non-sentence beginning the second paragraph of this essay: "Robert Kennedy Jr.’s secret search for the truth about the assassination of his brother, President John F. Kennedy."

Otherwise, a most enlightening essay and a fitting tribute to the venerable Peter Dale Scott.

Most intriguing is his opinion that RFK, Jr. should build his party during this election to become a revolutionary party in the next election, after the culture has hopefully changed enough to reverse the coup of 1963. For me, that means Kennedy needs a come-to-Jesus realization of the true meaning of his father's and uncle's opposition to Israel over the atom bomb, Palestinian return, and the Israel lobby's registration as a foreign agent. The only trouble with that is the wait is killing in body and soul.
