Sure wish RFK Jr would call off the USDA and FDA skags that are still harassing Amos Miller in Pennsylvania for his Amish raw milk and farm products.

Have been very good friends with Amish farmer for almost 30 years.

He mainly grows organic vegetables for Whole Foods.

He knows the truth about pasteurization for decades with his 8th grade education.

The "simple folk" know and do not participate to the extent possible in English affairs.

However they did come out in numbers to support DJ Trump...

I live in Wisconsin, the dairy state. I've been drinking raw organic milk for years.

Does anyone seriously think that farm families AREN'T just going to the bulk tank for fresh milk every day? Of course they are.........and no one is getting sick!

I’ve seen talk about this subject floating around the internet for years and never with much detail on the thoughts and methods behind it. Great article! We live in a time when nearly everything is ultra processed and that cannot be the best thing for us.

I was a lifelong vegetarian, and later became vegan.🌱For decades, I was vehemently against milk and dairy. But when I got horribly sick with Long Covid, everything changed. I couldn’t tolerate 95% of foods for a long time and became severely malnourished. Out of desperation, I tried raw milk for the first time in my life. I was terrified of getting sick from it — but I had no choice.

To my surprise, it saved my life. It was the only thing my body could handle. It’s now been over a year of drinking it every single day, and I’ll never go without it again. It was the best decision I ever made.🥛

Nah, you were poisoned with something as there is no such thing as long Covid or anything Covid. Understand your circumstance and revival. The best decision you ever made was to stop the killing. The personal decision you made was out of desperation for something you do not and did not understand.

You were not "vehemently" against cows milk. You were for making the best possible decision and did so. Apparently it worked fine until you were poisoned...

Here in Canada several people died and unknown number were probably severely injured from listeria poisoning. FROM oat and soy juices!!!! Happened last summer

Amos isn’t testing his milk. I get my raw milk at a farm in PA that tests every batch they make. @raw milk mama has good write ups about it https://lizreitzig.substack.com/

Truth Seeker's avatar

so you heard and believe

Oat and soy milks are highly processed. Spoilage from listeria unlikely.

It is obvious when milk is spoiled, does not require testing.

There are many traps that sound about right to lay people with little comprehension.

Expand full comment
Mike's avatar

Listeria is found in a variety of foods, regardless of processing. Processed meats have been the source of multiple outbreaks across the world. Highly processed ice cream has been a source. Listeria does not originate from specifically raw foods, but is present everywhere in the environment, and becomes dangerous when the right conditions for incubation are produced.

Furthermore, food spoilage is not a feature of listeria. It would be much less dangerous if we could avoid it simply by not eating spoiled food.

It’s wise to be skeptical of the government line on anything, but to be a “truth seeker,” you ought to have at least a basic grasp of the story you’re doubting.

As you point out in the right conditions there is bacterial proliferation.

Bacteria are ubiquitous. Thank you for schooling me, have 9 years of science and 35 years of clinical experience. Doctorate in Biology.

You might take a course in comprehension, just saying.

What is on offer is the belief that plant milks somehow spoiled.

While that is possible, the outbreaks are generally not in that category.

Expand full comment
Mike's avatar

For a doctorate in biology I expect you would have known this already, but you’re still not getting it. There’s no noticeable “spoilage” with listeria, it is odorless and tasteless. It is no less likely that plant “milk” would spoil than anything else.

This began with you talking down to someone for believing a report that a few people in Canada got listeria poisoning from oat milk. You apparently believed that oat milk’s highly processed nature makes it unlikely to be a listeria risk (this is incorrect). Now that you understand the subject a bit better, you might be in a position to discern between truth and error.

You are making the case for invisible gremlins that have no biological evidence other than testing. You could not be more wrong and not only drank the kool aid you set up a public stand.

My wife and I first got into raw milk a five or six years ago, prior to covid nonsense. We were interested in it as a preconception food. When my wife was pregnant, her labs were top tier and the midwives were very impressed in how balanced they were. She was in the top 3 women in the history of the practice for vitamin D levels (she also took a supplement). Now, our boy is 3 years old, has his raw milk daily with our homemade maple syrup or plain and loves it. He's got the brightest eyes of any child I've seen, has an infectious positive attitude, and hardly ever gets sick more than a sniffle. Yes, I'm bragging, but just wanted to say the proof is in the pudding...drink raw milk!

You've got that right! The trillionaire globalists are a different breed of "human." They went from billionaires to trillionaires by selling poison that doesn't cost them a dime. Adding poison to everything we consume not only raises the prices to cover the poison, but kills us off sooner than later. And between life and death, Big Pharma cashes in big time too. WE'RE the eaters. THEY'RE the useless.

Before RFKjr takes on the raw milk issue, he should first, and I mean immediately, remove the mRNA CODID Vaccine from the childhood Vaccine Schedule.

He carefully defines his position on vaccines. He is all for them, providing they are safe and effective. They are neither safe nor effective, and he knows that.

It's a fact that no vaccine has ever been correctly tested for safety. Since the beginning, they have used a previously approved product as the "placebo", in place of a truly inert placebo. They compare the adverse reactions between the vaccine being tested and the "placebo". Then, to be even more deceptive, they provide the result of the comparison in terms of "relative" risk instead of "absolute" risk.

RFKjr knows all of this, he has alluded to it in his book, The Real Anthony Fauci. If he continues to allow this dangerous and deceptive practice to continue, then we are victims of the biggest con job in my lifetime.

Most everybody MISSES the fact that it MATTERS where you get your raw milk from. A pastured cow treated as cows were raised for thousands of years produces wonderful milk that is very good for most of us. But Devvy Kidd--very libertarian about most things--thinks nobody should be allowed to drink milk raw even from their own cow--because her mother got raw milk from a "kind" CAFO owner and she got Brucellosis.

Also every one is different. Some other posters here did better with pasteurized; others raw. America is supposed to be the Land Of The Free--but that only happens if we treat those who are different or have different opinions with RESPECT.

I offer the following testimony for RAW MILK A year from 80 and I am still healthy due to eating 90% organic for the past 55 years that included daily raw milk the first seven years of my life. Our family lived on a 20 acre ranchette in Sonoma County, CA, a mainly agricultural rural area at the time. My mother or father would milk White Star our milk cow and family pet ever morning and evening. The milk went right into our old refrigerator and would gather nice little icy chunks throughout that we enjoyed daily as a food staple. My mother had a hand crank separated that could separate the cream from the milk which was rarely used.
