If there are so many people concerned about "vaccine misinformation," then maybe some of those people who support vaccines without questioning them can answer one question for me: Why are vaccine manufacturers exempt from any criminal and civil penalties and lawsuits for injuries alleged to be caused by vaccines once their products receive federal approval?

The people falsely labeled as "vaccine skeptics" are not skeptical of their effectiveness; they're skeptical of blind acceptance of a vaccine as the only medical solution. They never ask, "Why did Dr Fauci say that we would not overcome COVID-19 until we develop a vaccine?" They never were willing to look for other solutions that were found to be effective, except that they could not be patented by anyone, since they were already in existence.

I need to note that Kennedy loses a lot of support for 2 big reasons. First is his taking money from corporate interests which are not spelled out publicly. It makes people feel he will be just as beholden to those corporte interests as the Dems and GOP. Second which is a major issue is Kennedy's refusal to listen to people who are horrified by Israel's apartheid and intentional genocide of the Palestinians. This shows that Kennedy is not well educated on the issue and is totally subdued by the hasbara, major lies of Israel. It puts the lie to his commitment to listen to people who may have different views. I won't call them opinions as that suggests lack of facts when we have more facts than can be easily handled in one short post. if nothing else the stated goal of genocide by the leaders of Israel including long standing politician Netanyahyu should have shocked Kennedy into awareness that he is wrong on his adamant support of that racist, colonial settler State which is ruled by the racist ideology of Zionism. And to emphasize, Zionism and criticism for a politcal State has nothing to do with anti-semitism and attacks on Judaism. He should listen to all those rabbis who oppose what Israel is doing and even the very nature of its genocidal origins.

I agree with you Tanya on Kennedy's stance on the Apartheid and Genocide of the Palestinians. Hopefully he will stand-up strong on it this week, though there is no reason I can fathom why he delayed this except he is beholden to the Zionists. I pray it is not so!

Many of us had grave concerns about his pro-Israel position but sought to have dialogues with him on this with hope he would alter/change his position. However, listening to his statement after Oct 7 which was so adamant, almost directive was a real turn off and resulting in him being dropped like a hot potato. Look at how Dennis Kucinich quite his campaign without a statement but given Kucinich's anti-war and anti violence position it seems clear this Israel issue was a major divide between them. I am not holding my breathe on Kennedy recanting any time, if ever. Wish that weren't so.

Dear tanya:

You are misinformed or deliberately misleading in regard to "Israel's alleged apartheid and intentionall genocide of the Palestinians.

Quite the contrary Terry. If you and the Kennedy actually listened to Netanyahu, his extremely right wing administrtion and even read the historic Zionist documents you would have to apologize for you ignorance. Refusing to listen and watch puts Kennedy in a very bad position as it is only the US that forces the propaganda that allows Israel's genocidal intent and behavior. For a campaign that has been heavily subject to censorship and makes this part of it campaign goals you need to be a lot more open to what is seen and heard by people all over the world, including the majority of Jews in the US.

I am forwarding a newslist of many articles by many highly credible journalists and writers that you need to take the time and read thru.

You might pay attentions to the numerous articles on the Israeli genocide.

There is even one that quotes Netanyahu on his condescending attitude towards the US

The only reason for the US to support Israel is for American imperialist and hegemonic interess in the Mid East--this has always been the case. It has made a bargain with the devil but the devil is just like American neo con/liberalism goals

Maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't it John Adams who signed off on the Sedition Act in 1798 and then used it to censor and imprison his critics and political opponents?

That first amendment thing didn't last very long, did it?

Adam, You are right and John Adams is nobody that should be quoted because of his position on Freedom but I believe Kennedy was focusing on Adams point on being all in for his country (though Adams was not).

Understood.

But if you're going to argue an appeal to authority, it stuck me as a very odd choice of names to drop. If you had a mind to do it, you could go through the speeches of Adolf Hitler (which I did in grad school) selecting excerpts that sounded very reasonable, rational, and even inspirational. You'd just have to turn a blind eye to a little thing we call genocide. I don't care for it when someone assumes that I'm stupid, and there seems to be an increasing number of times when RFK JR -- whom I once supported whole-heartedly --- insults my intelligence.

Does anyone know where I can find a link to Bobby’s speech at the recent Children’s Health Defense 2023 conference (Nov. 3rd, I believe)? The mainstream media is quoting him in a way that creates the implication that he plans to recklessly ignore infectious disease entirely if elected. Of course, the articles don’t provide context or link to the actual speech. From various interviews I’ve heard him do, I know there’s a lot of nuance and context that must be understood, and it’s easy to mischaracterize what he says otherwise. I’d like to provide a link of the actual speech to a friend who doesn’t get it yet and forwarded me one of these msm article that lacks depth. Thanks.

Thank you for including a tribute to John Adams, one of my favorites among the Founders. He's received short shrift from history and is not even included on any currency. Never a slave owner, Adams was true to the law, defending British soldiers in the misnamed "Boston Massacre." Some US history holds that the British troops fired at people hurling mere verbal abuse and "snowballs" at them. The redcoats were surrounded by a mob that was pelting them with stones and began firing in a panic, killing five. Two of the British were convicted of manslaughter after Adams' defense.

Of the Continental Congress delegates in 1774, Adams wrote that a third were "averse to the Revolution" and, "retaining that over weaning fondness in which they had been educated for the English could not cordially like the French indeed they most heartily detested them." Another third entertained a "hatred of the English and gave themselves up to an enthusiastic gratitude to France," and the remaining third were "lukewarm" about it all. For this honesty, Adams was apparently marginalized by American history.

Adams was a grouchy, ornery man but honorable and a principled attorney to the end. The first and only president of the Federalist Party, he lost out to the Jeffersonian-Madisonian wing. His ally Alexander Hamilton was killed in a duel with Jefferson's vice president (a rogue), and the tragic War of 1812 ensued. The nation might have been far more secure if the Adams-Hamilton wing had consolidated power.
