Thursday News Round Up – RFK Jr. Calls for the Voters to Decide Elections, Not Courts Manipulated by Political Operatives
“It’s time to trust the voters. It is up to the people to decide who the best candidate is. Not the courts. The people. That’s Democracy 101.” – RFK Jr.
Kennedy’s statements on X about the Colorado Supreme Court decision barring Donald Trump from that state’s primary ballot:
“Every American should be troubled by the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove President Trump from the ballot.”
“I’m not a Trump supporter (if I were, I wouldn’t be running against him!) But I want to beat him in a fair election, not because he was kicked off the ballot. Let the voters choose, not the courts!”
“If Trump is kept out of office through judicial fiat rather than being defeated in a fair election, his supporters will never accept the result. This country will become ungovernable.”
“Trump blocked from the ballot in Colorado. When a court in another country disqualifies an opposition candidate from running, we say, ‘That’s not a real democracy.’ Now it’s happening here.”

We wrap with an apology from your Headlines Editor. Forgive me. Last night I watched a bit of CNN’s celebratory coverage of the Colorado Supreme Court decision barring Trump from that state’s primary ballot.
I admit it. I relapsed. While watching CNN, I counted six pharmaceutical advertisements in just over sixteen minutes of viewing (sixteen minutes of my life that I will never get back).
Naturally, the segment was brought to us by Pfizer.
Do the folks at CNN ever wander out of the studio and talk to Americans who are not members of the DNC, members of the military-industrial complex, or some other elite “expert” from the establishment cognoscenti? Well said, RFK Jr.!
The CNN segment described in the article explains why many people have given up on the "mainstream media" being able to honestly report the news. I missed it because I didn't have CNN tuned in at the right time.
The idea that Pfizer sponsored that segment doesn't surprise me; they'll sponsor anything. Well, anything that doesn't directly criticize their message. And companies like them know that these newscasts need funding to stay on the air. Too bad they can't rely on Philip Morris and Jim Beam to pay their bills. Or the friendly neighborhood unlicensed pharmacist (cocaine dealer).
