“ Kennedy points out here that the Biden administration gives defense contractors direct access to Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky. Who are these standing members of the military-industrial complex?”

Does he think defense contractors don’t have direct access to Netanyahu and other Israeli government officials? His stance on the MiC is totally hollow insofar as he supports the Israel lobby, which is one of the biggest factions of the MiC. Why does he continue to pretend to be a critic of the MiC when he is clearly now in their pocket? I guess he functions as nice controlled opposition?

Israel not being repudiated early & often by RFK jr. should make a nice wedge issue, I've certainly noticed that plenty of commenters ignore whatever OP was about to throw this idea up over and over.

Question: Biden and Trump both are/have been backing Israel since day 1 of their administrations. So this issue is a push... All the likely candidates actions or stances are equally unacceptable to you. So what OTHER policy statements (or lack of statements!) matter to you?

Expand full comment

Neither Biden or Trump are positioning themselves as the anti-pentagon “Peace” candidate, thus their stances are not as glaringly hypocritical. Many people, including myself, were originally drawn to rfk because of his position on war and the MIC. Without that position being legitimate, his appeal drops tremendously. I don’t want Kennedy to be just another establishment candidate, so the fact of Biden and Trump both supporting the Israeli government is irrelevant. Trump though at least has a history of not bringing the US into a war during his presidency and Biden actually seems to express more pushback on the Israeli government than Rfk.

One more thing I feel is lacking from rfk is no statements about electoral reform. He is a third candidate but doesn’t say anything about how he is going to change the process to open up the system to candidates other than the duopoly. Does he plan to become a democrat again after he wins? There are ways to alter voting, such as proportional ranked choice voting that will help break the duopoly. But he has to my knowledge said nothing about plans to disrupt the corrupted electoral system. If he gets a plurality but not a majority in the election it will go to the house where he will likely lose. Why isn’t he making the electoral system and how he is going to try to change it a top issue? He talks about fantastical speculative harms of 5g but not electoral reform? Huh?

He talks a big game about being critical of these institutions of power like the cia, the fbi, or the nih—the mic (which I quoted from this OP) but then sides with a semi foreign lobby that is arguably one of the most powerful lobbies that influences the mic. It makes me question the foundation of his campaign. Everything else he talks about appears like mere smoke and mirrors. For example — free speech. He is quite opposed to all the academic, corporate and government censorship efforts with regard to covid stuff, but doesn’t seem to care about censorship efforts related to “Zionism” - Israel / Palestine. Thus his stances seem to be built on sand. When people with his own views are censored, he talks about it, but when people with views that challenge the Israel lobby are censored, he doesn’t say anything.

I question whether he can win the needed majority without making himself standout by taking a strong stance against the Israel lobby. He might need to actually be a leader to win. Like you said it’s a nice wedge issue. He seems to be afraid of the Israel lobby, which slandered him as an anti-semite in the past already. Rather than fighting against it, he seems to have surrendered to it. Which means it may be more strategic to vote for Biden or Trump, even if they are garbage too — I think the chances of him winning a majority is low while he supports the Israel lobby.

It’s still possible I will vote for Rfk, but right now it’s up in the air . And that’s why I’m commenting about his hypocrisy around the MIC, because it’s the primary issue that could, right now, affect my vote. I have not observed any commenters express strong support for his position on Israel/Palestine, thus I am deeply suspicious of his strategic motivations for his position. It doesn’t seem driven by the interests of his likely voters or his own purported principles. It appears he is corrupted or compromised like all establishment politicians.

There is also a possibility he is just playing what he thinks to be 10d chess. And he is indeed opposed to the Israel lobby but thinks his campaign would be hurt too much if they come after him, so he is just going to wait until after he is elected to oppose it. Alas, I’m not going to assume that is true since there is no meaningful sign that is what he’s doing; and I also think that is a bad chess move.

I thought that was True Shanna and then the Truth came out from him on his full support for Israel's continued Genocide, Ethnic cleansing, Mass Child Sacrifice, Apartheid (not just recently but for the past 75 plus years) of Palestinians and his full support of America's Military Industrial Complex Massive Inhuman weapons used against Palestinian mostly women and children who have no army, air force, navy, artillery or iron dome to protect then from Israel's Psychotic Attack on Civilians.

I did not say he did anything wrong on Epstein's flights, I don't know. But the Mossad/Epstein had a decades long Honey Trap of US politicians, business people and powerful people to Blackmail them to do the Zionists Will. In addition they own many US politicians utilizing Huge Lobbying funds and outright payoffs. Further they Killery (murder) dissenters.

So, Kennedy is way too intelligent not to know the Truth so he is either: Blackmailed, Bought and Paid for and/or in fear. His ex-wife who committed "suicide" was a close friend of Ghisline Maxwell-Epsteins Partner and part of the Mossad Sex Trafficking/Blackmail Team. Not sure there is a connection but there may be.

Sadly, as long as the votes keep getting "counted" in secret, the candidates who support the banksters & corporations will get the votes, whether anyone actually voted for them or not.

Since the punditocracy + the whole damn Baskin-Robbins 33 flavors of bloggers totally broke any social agreement on what policies or people might represent left, right, centrist, conservative or progressive?

I've settled for a simpler analysis organized on 2 axis.

1: Approved of in NY times/WaPost (that is, MICC official consensus backed) or not?

2: Do they think there is some group of people that needs to be killed?

A double negative USUALLY lines up with most of my prejudices.

I agree with PFFF and Jeffrey Peoples in the comments.

I wish this article was True regarding Kennedy and the Military Industrial Complex. Instead Kennedy is pimping for them with his support for Netanyahu's on Air Globally Broadcast Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing, Mass Child Sacrifice, Racism and Anti-Semitism of over 20.000 Palestinians to date who are actual Semites. US SUPPLIED MASS GENOCIDE AND DON'T YOU DARE SAY OR WRITE AGAINST IT BECAUSE WE PAID OFF AND BLACKMAILED POLITICIANS TO OUTLAW ANY KIND OF RHETORIC AGAINST US. Good Luck with that!

Kennedy is pimping just like his Rabbi Shmuley who also pimps for sex toys and brags about it. I guess its all It's all about the Benjamins (AND POWER AND CONTROL FOR THE NWO PSYCHOPATHS!

America has choices: Braindead, likely pedofile, crooked, communist biden, Narcisstic, Fascist Trump or RFK Jr who seems so much better but either Bought and Paid for and/or Epstein Blackmailed

WHO OWNS YOU RFK JR? You already answered us.

He is not bought and paid for by ANYONE! And was on the Epstein plane in early 90s with his family they just got a ride to Florida! Bobby is the only one who is talking about the state we are in high inflation etc! It is difficult to survive! So rather than more of the same duopoly we NEED a Fresh start!

Mr. Kennedy,

How do you respond? The US MiC is providing the weapons and support for this genocide and "precision bombing".

"U.N. chief Guterres detailed the “humanitarian nightmare” Gaza is facing, citing intense, widespread and ongoing Israeli attacks from air, land and sea that reportedly have hit 339 education facilities, 26 hospitals, 56 health care facilities, 88 mosques and three churches.

Greater than 60% of Gaza’s housing have reportedly been destroyed or damaged, 85% of the population has been forced from their homes, the health system is collapsing, and “nowhere in Gaza is safe,” Guterres stated.

Argue with this Cindy K.

What’s there to argue?! You said it all! Can I ask why you Kennedy naysayers follow the Kennedy Beacon?! Is it so the handful of you can keep rubbing this in our faces daily?! I don’t understand what you’re trying to accomplish.

Obviously you’re not going to vote for him over this! So what gives?!

As others have said, in the name of transparency and truthful disclosure, you are either in favor of the US supported genocide of the Palestinians or you are not. RFK Jr. has not spoken directly about it that I know of, but his position has been inferred from other conversations where he appears to support the ongoing atrocities and to be on the side of the Israeli war criminals.

Of the leading presidential candidates, I have every intention of supporting and voting for Mr. Kennedy for many reasons, however this issue will have to be addressed, hopefully sooner than later. I would like to know if the person I'm voting for has the level of integrity he appears to espouse or not.

Wow! Are you aware of what’s going on in America?! Do you live here? Most Americans are working 2, 3 jobs to survive! They’re not morally bankrupt as you say! They’re tired and don’t have time to know what’s going on or to care!! Sorry to disappoint you. Gaza is not in everyone’s thoughts!

I think Kennedy can do better on the Israel issue, but it is hardly the most important issue if you're an American. You post the same thing over and over again here every day. Suspect that you are a paid troll.
