Maybe RFK,Jr. could win my trust again, but he would have to condemn Israel’s brutal, unrelenting attack on Gaza. I haven’t heard him do that yet. For a ‘man of peace’, your silence is deafening.

RFK, Jr broke his "silence" in an interview with Krystal Ball on Breaking Points recently, and his performance horrified me. He simply denied that the horrors in Gaza are occurring. I am not a fan of Krystal Ball as an interviewer, but IMO she asked some valid questions, citing credible evidence of Israeli conduct in Gaza. RFK, Jr wouldn't have it. He repeatedly interrupted her and denied that there is evidence supporting her points. He seemed to me to be uncharacteristically emotional and close-minded about Israel, whereas, on virtually all other issues, he comes across as analytical, rational, and intellectually curious. I'm hanging on in my support of him, for now, but if he were to choose Tulsi Gabbard (who seems to uncritically support Israel) as a running mate, I doubt I could continue.

Thank you for your comment! I believe that RFK Jr supporters should continue to share their view on this issue directly with the campaign.

For what? He stated that the Palestinians are one of the most pampered groups.

Ironic coming from his wealth and privilege.

We don't need another oligarch. I really don't care who wins 2024 anymore. They're all insane, including rfk Jr.

Sometimes I think maybe RFK,Jr. doesn’t really support Israel, but is saying that he does, so as not to get assassinated by Mossad, or to bring down AIPAC, etc. His position on Israel doesn’t fit in with all his other beliefs.

Expand full comment

I agree that RFK's position and approach to the question of Israel do not "fit" with his other beliefs and his approach to other issues. But I think RFK does support Israel and wants to see an Israeli state continue to exist--but it's an idealized state of Israel that he still believes in. He seems to be in denial, at least publicly and for whatever reason, about the goals and actions of the current state of Israel under the Likud party. At the end of his interview with Krysta Ball, RFK agreed that if people commit some of the war crimes Krystal described, they should be tried, and, if found guilty, convicted and imprisoned for life with the keys "thrown away." That position doesn't help the people who are being killed in Gaza now.--but I doubt there is anything RFK could do now to help them. I still support him because, if he were president, he would have handled the situation differently, and as he said, have communicated with other world leaders including Xi and Putin, to explore possible paths towards peace.

I'm wondering if Kennedy's hands might still be tied in some of the same ways even in the White House.

Expand full comment

My confusion is like yours, Linda. Funding, AIPAC, Mossad, blackmail, and political gamesmanship are the only possibilities I can come up with to explain Kennedy's incongruous position on Palestine, unless he's a Zionist. He certainly follows their script. I was waiting to sign on once he escaped the clutches of the DNC. But then, almost simultaneously, came Gaza. Big disappointment.

Kennedy said the Palestinians are one of the most pampered... He's so crazy that I cannot read any of his hipocritical shit anymore.

I understand if he's pro Israel for politics, but he's seriously deranged. Maybe too much drug abuse fried his empathy.

Can you direct me to where Kennedy said the Palestinians are among the most pampered? This is not a challenge but a serious question. I'm trying to learn what I can. thanks

I'd like to see his supporters continue to be vocal on objections to the current policy in Gaza, and to share their views directly with the campaign.

How can we do that? I have been a volunteer coordinator on the campaign since August (on the state level) and have lost multiple volunteers over this issue. Volunteers refer to it as "stepping away" from the campaign pending RFK's further explaining his position on Israel/Gaza. I am not aware of any portal available for communication directly with the campaign. If you have access to someone who can make such a portal happen, you'd be performing a tremendous service.

i've stopped supporting him as of October 8th. On this subject he is not the person I thought he was. he's tone deaf and blinded to ethnic cleansing and genocide even though it's happening right under his eyes. he's no different than the neo cons that are in the government now and who he criticizes

I doubt you're ignorant. I've been trying to find such an avenue since early October when the volunteers started "stepping away" from the campaign.

i know many who have stopped supporting him, myself included, and the thing is younger people are a big percentage of those who were supporting him. They are also the demographic who is more likely to be pro Palestinian on this issue. i hope he is noticing that volunteers are stepping away. places like this, facebook and using the campaign website is probably the only place to make your voice heard. Also on Rumble and youtube comments if it pertains to him. One would think he has people following this stuff.

The enormity of Israel's crimes in Gaza, despite the deluge of propaganda that tries to justify them, makes anyone counterfeit who doesn't condemn them and yet claims to be of good conscience. The great majority of the world, including its statesmen, are appalled by this atrocity sponsored by the U.S. Kennedy's campaign rhetoric rings false given his support of Israel. At least to anyone who gives a damn about this holocaust.

Does it matter? I accepted that he followed the party line in the middle east for his own success.

But Kennedy is crazy. He said the Palestinians are one of the most pampered groups.

He didn't even need to say that to appeal to his $upport.

He's starting to sound like a deranged boomer.

I so agree with the great option to vote outside of two party system and the opportunity to make real change with RFK jr. Exciting times! I also agreed with him mostly on the facts and issues in Gaza and in his interview with Krystal Ball. He is much more knowledgeable and has his feet on the ground to not be swayed by lies, propaganda and anti-semitism! I think he could help stop and heal in Gaza by his presence and honesty!

Except for Palestinians which he called the most pampered.

Rfk is the one who is a pampered boomer. Good bye. Don't want to read your hipocritical crap anymore.

I understood why you supported isr and followed the "party line". But calling Palestinians pampered is a sign of insanity and not even required to follow the political line.

I'M DONE WITH VOTING FOR OLIGARCHS. They're all insane and have huge lacks of empathy. 2028 should have psychological testing for office. Insane leaders can promise good things but like we saw with Kennedy, they can easily turn to the dark side. I question his character like I did the other candidates.

Time to characterize the fake “pandemic” as just another war, no different from the others carried out overseas. Look at the cost in the $trillions. The casualties in the millions by shots and hospital protocols that served the depopulation agenda ... coded language of the “climate crisis.” The broken infrastructure and closed businesses. Why so many cars on the road? Why is society so frenetic, eating up global resources? It’s the wars. We HAVE to have cars. We have to get to our jobs to make money to PAY FOR THE WARS. Public transportation pathetically inadequate. The pace inexorable. Nothing will be accomplished environmentally or any which way til

we stop the wars. We need real DOJ that will investigate and prosecute the war criminals of the pandemic response as we apply our resources to regenerative agriculture, serious and meaningful healthcare and self-care education and medical reforms. ... the vast majority of physicians still

push the worthless shots, which speaks DIRECTLY to the question of their competence .... and SERIOUS energy innovation, not just flash cuts. Reform in the military ... Constitutional rights, no more pronouns no more woke and no more foreign wars that feed the MIC and their lobbyists.

I think it’s to good to be true, and I’ll keep saying it. I think it’s a survey, the powers that be use our votes to stay on top of us. They know where all of our heads are at by the way we vote, and they plan accordingly. No good person wakes up ok with the atrocities that are taking place, the fact that any of this evil shit is happening says it all. The people who are in control wake up completely fine with these atrocities, they cause them, they fund them, they force them. It doesn’t matter who wins, they are all really really bad people, they are completely ok with lying, they have no regard for human life outside of their own families , there objective is clear. Good people do not perform acts of war, good people do not retaliate with acts of war, good people don’t even have war in there vocabulary. No person should ever have to defend themselves from people who feel important enough to lead entire nations. What’s even more disgusting is that these so called leaders don’t even have the balls to tell the truth. That is my completely unnecessary rant for the evening.

Kennedy recently said in an interview about the Zionist Racist Mass Child Sacrifice, Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing and Brutal Apartheid:

1. "Israel is doing all it can to avoid civilian casualties." DISGUSTING LIAR!

25,000 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children murdered by US supplied weapons to the Psychopathic Zionists.

2. Israel is so humanitarian they warning civilians before they bomb." DISGUSTING LIAR!

Israel knows the people have no where to go, many are immobile and invalids and cannot flee, and the few times they did Israel bombed the only place they could move to.

REALITY:

a. 50% of Gaza's infrastructure and homes are leveled. Think about that in your town or city.

b. More civilians were murdered in Gaza by the Zionists the past 12 weeks than were killed in the Ukraine in the entire almost 2 year war. AND THE ZIONIST ATTACKS WERE TARGETED ON CIVILIANS!

c. Zionist Israel Systematically targeted everyone of the 32 hospitals in Gaza. We are talking about the sick, the lame, near death, babies in incubators and those who can't be moved. This is the first time in modern history where the methodical targeting of hospitals was done. DISGUSTINGLY PSYCHOTIC!

As Norman Finkelstein, who lost 4 grandparents to the Holocaust so elegantly put it:

RFK JR. is a Complete Sleazebag and sack of S***.

Kennedy you are a Traitor to the people, One World Order Puppet and a Coward!
