Easier solution: stop taking the toxic pharmaceuticals (they do more harm than good)

Trump says he isn't knocking the companies. Well he should. They are ripping off the public with "symptom suppressors" and false "cures". Modern day "snake oil".

Agree. Going after other countries because they pay less makes no sense to me.

One of Trump's major flaws is that he doesn't believe in health. He believes in the Industrial Medical system (he has never experienced the (lack of) care that the average American receives).

What a powerful MAHA team to watch today delivering this message. Dr. Makary, head of the FDA, Dr. Oz, head of CMS, Dr. Bhattacharya, head of NIH with President Trump and RFK Jr as our head of HHS. Such hard work and commitment to the health of our sickened country by going after Big Pharma. Next, no more direct to consumer advertising which is another contributor to high drug costs. Get them out of advertising on TV!

I agree, this administration is making significant strides, at least exposing the volatility of industrial power manipulation! My sincere hope to these intelligent and honorable health and food leaders, is they start implementing solid medicinal technology and information to the people and start competing against pharmaceuticals by not only bring down costs, start curing, our bodies and evolve to their full potential! Stop wasting time money , start evolving healthier, and being happier to our God-given abilities!!

Lower drug prices will help many Americans continue to manage chronic conditions. But let's hope cheaper prices do not translate into greater drug use. We know how to heal chronic disease and it isn't with cheaper drugs.

This is great news for the USA, with this “executive-order” by President Trump! I’m not so sure with the powerful pharmaceutical lobbyists and the Supreme Court in theirs pockets, our senators & congressmen, will happily follow along?? It’s a powerful start to cut drug cost in America! I just wish medicinal-technology and alternative solutions to cure, what pharmaceuticals have neglected to “Cure”, would have an upper hand?? I’m glad to see Mr Trump at least address these issues!

This is great news of course. How about selling sumatriptan over the counter like other countries have been doing for years? I'm tired of jumping through hoops to buy it from overseas pharmacies so I don't get fleeced by American pharmacies.

i'm a little nervous about this only because it's more government interference. what's to prevent drug companies from raising their prices in every country to equal ours?

i'm old enough to remember when insurance policies did not have a drug plan and drugs were affordable; they had to be priced at what the market would bear. the minute insurance got involved and the "real" price of drugs was hidden from the consumer, the prices skyrocketed, people were "comforted" with a co-pay (that probably covers the entire cost of the drug and some profit) and the drug companies can deduct the on paper hypothetical "loss."

maybe this is a good temporary stopgap to bring down prices fast and then hopefully the government can bow out and let the free market take over.

there's a reason that every product on the market goes down in price with time EXCEPT for medical products and services.

you have to wonder how the democrats will spin this into something terrible.

Foster Coulson won't be happy because The Wellness Company sells drugs in US up to 200 times the cost compared to retail price in other countries. Examples
