This compassion towards migrants thing will change my vote. I care about folks in need. But 1)the illegals need to be sent back as they are here illegally, making them criminals;2) all tha bleeding heart energy needs to be focused on our own poor and especially our veterans; and 3) tha border needs to be closed. If you keep babbling about caring for people who should not be here in the first place and who are here for evil, political intentions then you are out of touch and also out of touch with the majority of Americans. We cannot save everone. Let’s start with our own citizens who are being ignored. Let’s clean up those homeless camps and quit giving people handouts and get out of jail free cards and get them to work. If they want money they need to pass a drug test. There are so many problems we need to address here, at home before we deal with folks who think this is the land of milk and honey. That’s what you do. You take care of the home front, first, and make it solid and from there you care for others. As a lifeguard I was taught to make sure I offer help from a secure position or more people, including myself, becomes imperiled. Send te illegals back. Change our immigrant methods so they are less cumbersome. Then vet the ones who want to come here to live with 1) a willingness to obey this country’s laws and defend its constitution; and 2) an ability and desire to work for their living high on that “ok to come in” list. We should NEVER care for others until our own are cared for, first. You are starting to sound like a socialist and we all know where that leads. More taxes for more bleeding heart projects until we are right where the current bad guys want us. No thank you.

Most problems are best solved with an integrative, wholistic approach that addresses many aspects of a problem. You won't vote for Kennedy b/c you are against an isolated sound bite that you pulled out of the discussion?

I think we’re going to have to wise up pretty fast. The government has no intentions of allowing free speech. Neither do corporations, banks et Al. The nerve of them to change the meaning of democracy.
On the immigration note, after getting our house in order , let’s create trade with these countries that we turned into ‘Banana Republics.’
