Tonight, I drove alone from Rye to Brooklyn to finally have the opportunity to listen to RFK Jr speak live to a cheering crowd of his supporters. He took questions and then offered to take a selfie with each of the hundreds of people in attendance. When it was my turn, I told him that I lost all my friends because of him. He said I know we all have, but you know what, you will make new friends. And he was right!! I did make new friends tonight and experienced a comradely that I have been missing for three years. This is the genuine RFKJr; this is the President we all need. A President who cares deeply about the people and the country that he loves. It is not a lot, but I contribute monthly to his campaign and I urge that everyone give whatever you can to this giving, highly qualified and brilliant man. Do it for your children or your future children, do it for those who can’t. RFK Jr come back to New York again and again. We love you…and we guarantee you will have fun!
i feel the same down in charleston, SC. i lost my job of 40 years because i wouldn't take the covid vaccine, lost many friends and lost respect for many others. i've only voted in one presidential election (i'm 70) because i never saw the point.
i do now! we've been to 3 kennedy events and have 3 selfies with him. i plan to make a monthly donation from my social security repayments going forward (i used part of my first installment to attend a $500 RFKjr fundraiser). i'm volunteering to help the campaign in my area.
I lost a giant deal once upon a time by making a mistake similar to the one made in this article..."RFK was out in New York City and Brooklyn today". OMG. Brooklyn is one of the five boroughs of New York City. I expect you meant to say Manhattan and Brooklyn. This is in the "some people will be really irked" faux pas category...
Manhattan referenced as NYC is universal as Big Apple the objection is ridiculous as the Manhattanite moniker as B&T people for folks who take bridge or tunnel to midtown.
Was RFK Jr. in Williamsburg? The Newtown Creek Alliance and Riverkeeper, which he led, have been working together on solutions for cleaning the Newtown Creek in Greenpoint, next door to Williamsburgh.

Fair point except that Bobby was only in Manhattan & Williamsburg Brooklyn..
Yep...as I said, the sentence should say he was in Manhattan and Brooklyn...NOT New York City and Brooklyn.

I like this strategy. A bit of "it's the economy, stupid!" from the past combined with all the rest of the best of RFKJr

The middle classes are poor, and the poor are dying! Tax the rich!
