RFK Jr. is not truly an "independent" candidate if he doesn't make a courageous stand for peace in the Middle East calling on both the Israelis and the Palestinians to come together for a meaningful long-term settlement. This could be done through a peace conference under the auspices of the US Security Council. The current crisis could lead us into WWIII. No other presidential candidate is calling for peace. RFK Jr. has to be the one.

While I completely agree with you, is Joe Biden to be trusted in moderating a peace initiative? He won't be interested unless he can figure how to use it to enrich himself and his family.

The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, is calling for a cease fire in Israel and is offering to mediate the dispute in order to create the Palestinian state the UN called for years ago. Why can't Mr. Kennedy, a US presidential candidate, issue a similar call?

I implore RFK Jr. to PLEASE CALL FOR PEACE AND A CEASE FIRE in the Israeli/Palestine violence!!! So far RFK Jr. has made extremely insensitive statements without even the slightest sympathy for Palestinians in Gaza who are LITERALLY kept in a open air prison. If RFK Jr. continues to sound like a war monger without sympathy for the 1 million children living in Gaza, it will ruin his campaign. I have had so much hope for the campaign but his recent statements have made me extremely saddened and unsure about further support. RFK Jr. talked about resisting the temptation of "tribal thinking". Well, he MUST practice what he preaches and openly discuss these issues with experts such as Max Blumenthal, Glenn Greenwald, and Norman Finkelstein (all Jews!!).

IF Israel does peace, eventually, the terrorist/butchers will again attack innocents. Please remember the calls of the terrorist to kill/eliminate all Jews and Israel followed by the same for the USA. They have said it repeatedly for years and years. Israel gave them Gaza, they have had ample opportunity to prosper and rise above neanderthral, precivilizatonal values, but all they do is plan and kill. We must be realistic, there is indeed evil in this world.

And even if Hamas itself is redeemable, which I strongly doubt, now is not the time. Israel first needs to deal with the immediate situation and then they can address the long-term problem. Kennedy has been on record for decades supporting a two state solution. I'm sure he hasn't changed his mind about that. It was the Palestinians who walked away from a two state solution time and time again because they insisted on getting 100% of their demands and were unwilling to compromise in any way. They've also never ceased calling for the total destruction of Israel. Not that I'm saying Netanyahu is blameless in this situation. His unnecessary escalation of settlements on the West Bank has made the situation far worse. But saying that negotiations are the solution now would be like trying to put out a raging fire by fireproofing the home. The fire needs to be contained.

HAMAS clearly, after these decades of killing and after their frequent threats for genecide, is not redeemable. The problem is further understood by understanding why Eygpt, e.g., will not allow any of them into their nation. If one listens to their threats, yes, Israel is their first goal for complete destruction. But they will not stop there. They regularly announce the WHOLE planet is their goal. Ignore such warnings and threats at your (the whole population) own risk. No, NOW is the time. Give them what they value most - death. The fantasy of a two-state existence is not possible when one is pre-civilizational.

Were that group civilized, they could have given Israel a run for economic prosperity. But they for many decades have valued killing and butchery more than peace and living to life's fullest. They have received more financial and other aid than many, many other nations. In all the ages of this planet's 4.5-billion-year existence, many, millions of species have come and gone because of not being sufficiently able to adapt to the planet's environment. Arguably that subspecies will serve the planet best if they go the way of the Dodo bird. Anyone who believes a peace with them is negotiable is confused, ignorant of history, and values barbarism more than life.

I am still haunted by seeing poor people jumping from the towers in NY on 9/11. Imagine making such a decision: jump out windows many stories high. We must remember those poor souls. May God help us if we do not learn the lesson. Seeing those women in Israel raped and tortured with blood soiled trousers was horrific. It is haunting. Watching that degenerate play with that young girl toddler, knowing he was about to butcher her, i had to turn away. Please, God help that little girl's poor soul. Such barbarious, horrific and deliberately caused suffering must not be ignored. Those barbarians are not full humans. Something is lacking. In fact, they may arguably be worse than pre-civilizational because even the neanderthral killed to eat and for self-defense while these degenerates killed for PLEASURE and pride.

Pray for those poor victim's souls, please.

Kennedy is breaking my heart with his repetition of anti-Palestinian tropes and his blaming Palestinians alone for the failure to achieve peace in Israel-Palestine. It is so out of character for the man who, out of compassion, listened to the desperate mothers whose children had been injured by mercury poisoning, who steeped himself in the literature to find the facts, and who then became the champion of injured children against the Goliath corporations and their captive government agencies.

How can this brilliant, courageous, knowledgeable, resourceful man be so ignorant of the Nakba? Has he heard of it? Who will be the Palestinians' Sarah Bridges, the mother who put on his porch a pile of scientific studies about vaccine injuries and told him she was not leaving until he read them.

There's a stack of books by the Israeli New Historians waiting for him, books by Ilan Pappe, Benny Morris, Shlomo Sand and others, based in part on newly available archive material. These scholars sought peace through truth. Kennedy needs to read them.

Kennedy's lop-sided position on Israel-Palestine is costing him dearly among voters. You'll see that in the comments and "likes" on podcasts and tweets. People who would otherwise vote for him are denouncing him. It's taking the wind out of my sails and I'm a Kennedy Grassroots Finance Committee bundler who reached the thousand-dollar goal this past September 30.

And now he's replaced Kucinich with an ex-CIA agent. Sure, she's his daughter-in-law, but the optics are horrible. Kennedy likes to tick off the boxes of similarity between himself and his father and uncle to prove he's a Democrat. Well John F. Kennedy never hired an ex-CIA agent as campaign manager. JFK had a tight band of savvy insiders like Dave Powers, Kenny O'Donnell, Larry O'Brien, the "Irish Mafia" he could trust and depend on.

I hope our Kennedy knows what he's doing. He's a helluvalot smarter and capable than I am so I can only pray there's method in his madness.

RFK Jr's statement regarding the situation in Israel has me reconsidering my support for his campaign for President. He called for our unconditional support for Israel and whatever it takes , which sounds like the typical neocon position. His statement on Fox recently, placed all the blame on the Palestinians without any regard for their horrible abuse and oppression by Israel. If we can't acknowledge this then peace will never be achieved! It's well known that Israel helped create Hamas to be used against Arafat. We've all seen this movie before as the United States has done this many times with Sadam Hussain, Osama Binladen, Muslim Brotherhood, ect . They then become our enemies. It's another example of the Hegalian Dielectric which has been used over and over again because it works every time !

This current situation looks an awful lot like a 9/11 repeat. Not one dime of aid should go to any of these countries. Our country is 34 trillion dollars in debt ! Our weapons sales and meddling in the affairs of foreign governments have destabilized the entire world! It's very likely that the weapons used in this attack were from abandoned weapons left behind in Afghanistan or possibly coming from Ukraine. When I hear Kennedy say these facts then maybe I'll consider supporting him .

Did you catch his misstatement during the Fox interview when he reversed the "land for peace" phrase and said "again and again the Israelis have wanted to trade peace for land"? How inadvertently true! Since 1920 the Zionists have again and again broken the peace and seized more Palestinian land by force of arms. Trading peace for land.
