This is all well and good, but when will we be hearing RFK Jr himself call for a comprehensive negotiated peace settlement in the Middle East? Netanyahu is making apocalyptic rants, the US is on hair-trigger alert against their imagined "axis of evil." We need a presidential peacemaker NOW.
Many people are still unaware RFK,Jr is running for president. They are STILL calling him an anti-vaxxer and conspiracy theorist, as proof of his claims for safety materialize. The MSM is hungry to attack him on any little issue, and give his family who debase him a ready platform. He is on the campaign trail, while concerned for the safety of his family and staff. Looking at his life, his past accomplishments, his values, his integrity and his family legacy (which I feel he truly embraces) I trust him to be thoughtful, compassionate, educated , and well advised above any other candidate.
He is not the president yet, and Washington, MSM, and even independent media is ready to bash him at any turn. It is a complex situation that triggers our own fears of oppression, homelessness, abandonment and death. I give RFK,Jr the time and space to act as he sees fit. You never appreciate what you have until it’s gone. If he pulled out of this race I would truly lose hope.
Agreed Yvonne, but how do your words square with Kennedy's words of giving Israel "whatever it takes" after the Hamas attack? How does that help? Look at all the dead in Gaza now!!!
(Once again, I repeat, he is not in a safe place to discuss this issue at this time.)
IMO, I feel it was an initial, emotional response, for which I personally have experienced in myself, and with which I calmly step back and then intuit, and wrap a situation around my brain. I have heard him address the subject since, although briefly ( because he is a thoughtful person, without game playing) in some campaign speeches (i.e. a Kentucky country club) and through Kennedy Podcast, where he expresses his "love and concern for the Palestinian people", and "pray for it's children". I hear no other leaders expressing anything close. Saying you want peace is a far cry from understanding world history and politics, and making it happen. I don't want a president with immediate, reactive, premeditated answers. I want a president who is open to interpretation, does his homework, and knows more than I do, outside of my field of expertise.
He is losing much support from former liberals like myself who are appalled by his comments regarding Israel, his embrace of a Zionist rabbi & his belligerent comments regarding Iran & China.
Feeling what you feel, writing about your feelings, regarding the horrific acts in Gaza and Israel is the most important thing we can do for ourselves and others. We become clearer vessels sending positivity vs. fear to those who remain. Quantum physics - We are eternal beings, and so are the souls leaving this unenlightened planet.
I would lose hope, too. In fact, I am barely hanging on today, as it is. I pray every day I just don't wake up anymore and I have 2 kids that are still school-aged. I haven't voted for a winning POTUS in 26 years...which is fine. But the last two POTUSes have shown me I don't want this anymore. I don't want to see what Democrats & Republicans do anymore. I'm tired. I have been hanging on too long.
I really can't relate to the luxury of groaning on endlessly about one issue. I guess that's what people who have no real problems and gobs of hope can afford to do.
I can't. I am done after this. I already think about ending it all 15-25 times a day now. I feel stupid still hanging around to be told once again..."You're a POS for having an opinion that's not mine!" I am still too chicken...but I know it's coming. My hope is too threadbare.
I really can't believe Trump and Biden voters think their guy has earned another term...WTF people? Why are they so reckless with their support???
Do not give up hope! We are at a tipping point (i.e. by Malcolm Gladwell). I grew up when Times Square in NYC was a scary place, I avoided it. Years later it turned around. The Earth has been evolving since the beginning. The Universe expands, it doesn't contract, it goes through cycles, and so our planet (and our consciousness). The old consciousness presently in Washington and around the world believes in "Power Over Others", (i.e. war, occupation, control, censorship, etc.). Those who believe in the "Power of Love" (i.e. freedom, equality, prosperity, community, communication, etc.) are of the new consciousness forming. Hold strong, things are improving. Those in power want to keep us in fear. Release your fear, be in nature and connect with the divine, and love your children, the greatest gift of all, because they hold the highest consciousness of all, and the problem solving to heal the past.
They aren't. I have been on the outside long enough to know. We are farther away than ever. I am too old, now, to live on ramen noodles...cry myself to sleep every night. I am just tired. No one is waking up. Their heads are still up their backsides. RFK Jr's my only hope. He is the first and only hope I've had had in years....my last dying gasp while Republicans and Democrats suck all the air out of the room.
As they say, "Talk is cheap." You just want him to say words that you say he should say. Ooo.
Well, every single candidate needs to speak out against the vaccine genocide now, too. Eh? And that is FAR more important to me.
Any candidate that won't, is a LIAR about EVERYTHING. And a FRAUD. But...if they do speak out about 'muh genocide!' well...you have it all figured out, dontcha? Talk is EVERYTHING, now. Silence is violence...words are empowering.
Persuasive, with history I did not know about JFK in the early years of Israel, his humane and smart views on the Palestinians. I hope Bobby evolves on the appalling events we're seeing every day in Gaza and the West Bank.
This conflict did not start with Oct 7. Palestinians in Gaza are virtually imprisoned with Israel controlling food water and medical supplies for the last 16 years, plus look at a map of Palestine in 1965 and then now, this is all territory that Israel has stolen violently and illegally from the Palestinians. Even today Israeli settlers are torturing and murdering families in the West Bank and stealing their land and homes. Yesterday Israel dropped 6 1 TON bombs on a Palestinian refugee camp killings hundreds wiping out blocks and blocks. You can see videos of people trying to get children to run for cover as they realize the bomb has been dropped, a desperate and futile attempt to protect children from a bombs that size.
Israel has murdered 1 Palestinian child every 3 days for the last 20 years. What would you do if this were happing in your community??
Stop consuming empire owned media. Educate yourself. Here is a starting place with data: IfAmericansKnew.org
If you care only for the people killed by Hamas on Oct 7 but not the 2000 Palestinian children killed by Israel in the last 20 years, and the 4000 Palestinian children murdered since Oct 7 you might want to consider the motives for your selective humanity.
You need to read somehistory. You are the one with all the wrong information. Wow! Wherre did you acquire all your information. The conflict began when Israel became a state in 1948 in which all they wanted was a place for Jews that had been thrown out of so many countries to live. They were immediately attacked by the Arab countries. The Arab countries would not let them live in peace ever. In actuality Israel gave back Gaza to the Palestinian years ago and left them all they had built up there over the years they were there. The Palestinians voted in the terrorist group Hammas in 2005. You believe all the Arab and Hamas lies. Israel .
Yes, 650,000 Palestinians had to be relocated in 1948. Israel didn't do it violently.
The Arab countries attacted them firsactually employed thousands of Palestinians until the invasions by Hamas and others. Hamas imprisoned them, not Israel. After a period of incursions from Hamas, Israel had no choice but to put some controls on the Gaza strip, only because of Hamas. The Jewish people were the indegenous people of what is Palestine now. Read your history, not the lies told to you, You are the one with selective humanity. Israel didn't attack the Palestinians in 1948-they needed to be relocated. Where were the Arab countries to help them? There were none. Whereas, all the Jews ,survivors of the Holocause(over 100,000) were welcomed into Israel as were all the Jews thrown out of Russia, Egypt and many other countries. Israel took them in with open arms and helped resettle them. You sound just like all the anti-semites of the world spewing false information.
This is a shift re Palestine for RFK Jr It’s subtle but it basically dismantles the MIC throughout the world and the focus shifts to domestic problems that are currently ignored. It’s a start but given it (mass murder by Israel) is happening as I write this, RFK Jr would be wise to write a specific plan of ceasefire to begin immediately. And a call for mass protests against any more US military involvement.
Bobby Kennedy must immediately rebuke Netanyahu for insisting on war, demand an immediate ceasefire and then of course oppose the printing of billions of U.S. fiat dollars to fuel the flames of continued war!
I hear you ... BUT! ... an initial response is super important, and it leaves the door wide open for those on the other side to react accordingly. If Kennedy would have shown any concern and empathy for the Palestinian people, (as JFK did), he would not be in such hot water with progressives and now many independents. Why do you think Kucinich quit? ... Kucinich's wife is on the board of an organization that promotes well being and dignity for Palestinian refugees. Leaders give measured responses to crisis situations, not emotional ones. The initial response is what lasts in voters minds. (ask Hillary how she feels now about her "deplorables" comment!)
After three weeks of Gaza genocide justified by a likely false flag, will Bobby show true Independence by speaking against U.S. money and troops sent to Israel? Will he demand an end to world war brinkmanship perpetrated by the U.S. and Israel?
Both nations oppose a nonbinding resolution for immediate ceasefire in Gaza that was overwhelmingly approved by the U.N. General Assembly. Where's Bobby? Many of his fans wonder and lose patience.
You cannot take the U.S. wars and Israeli's need to remain a state as one in the same. The U.S. wars on VietNam, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq etc. were not to save the U.S. from total destruction.
Nobody seems to mention the cause of Israel's operation in Gaza. It's always sad to see innocent civilians killed and suffering-just ask people in the Ukraine, or ask the Jews of the Holocaust and more. You're putting your hopes on the U.N.? Really. They are 100% supporters of the WHO and the WEF. They may bring in needed supplies, but they have never stopped a war.
No hope for the U.N. for anything other than facilitating the Great Reset. Which makes the U.S./Israel opposition to its resolution even more cynical. Israel's need to remain a state by no means should entail total destruction of Gaza. Mainstream media almost exclusively mentions the cause of Israel's "operation" in Gaza to the point of reluctantly retracting reports of babies beheaded in Israel or slow-moving Hamas rockets accidentally falling on hospitals, etc. Netanyahoo financing Hamas is another story. Is Bobby a false champion gagged by fear and/or favor?
they told people to get out. Almost a million Palestinians did. Hamas was holding them back. Sad, but true. How do you suggest Israel eliminates Hamas?
This is the tip of the iceberg of discussion around the Netanyahu and Hamas relationship. Sorry I don't have time to search my own archives for this content. The lack of security and much delayed response re the Hamas attack raises the question of a false flag operation to allow final takeover of Gaza. Mainstream media of course is unlikely to be a venue for this information and its discussion. So presto, about 3M people should leave their homeland at Israel's request? For what reason? And Hamas is the obstacle to this exodus? Too simplistic for my credulity.
Israel gave Gaza back after winning a war. They didn't have to. 2 million in the first place. No, temporarily until Hamas is defeated. Israel does not want Gaza back. Stop believing Arab rhetoric
Superb articulation of the single most important issue now facing our nation and why RFK Jr should be the Next President.. this current ongoing Global disaster is the direct result of a Corporatocracy on Steroids.. pursuing profits at All costs.. take your pick of the various Industrial complex's that Actually run this nation.. there is not One which has any REAL moral or ethical imperative.. at its Core other than Profit ..
It is time for a REAL National Change.. RFK Jr has the Vision and the Integrity to Lead this Change...
Others have alluded to this, but I think the problem is simple: he has not called for the IDF to immediately stop slaughtering 2.3 million civilians in Gaza.
He's been good on Ukraine and talks a good game on imperialist war generally, but this is gut check time. Opposition to an open genocide is absolutely necessary if he's going to maintain his credibility as an anti war candidate. He's going to have to make a clear statement in opposition or become lumped in with the rest of the despicable ruling class of the US in the eyes of the good people of the world.
Is he really different than the war lunatics of our two oligarchical parties?
I agree 100%. I have to wonder if Kennedy cynically knows the power of great Zionists in this country and the difficulty of winning a presidency after taking them on. Netanyahu is a Zionist, he cares no more for the Israeli people than he does for Palestinians, he cares only for power, the same can be said for the US government and its controllers.
Ample evidence that Bibi Netanyahu holds the Israeli people in contempt was on display--proudly--for all the world to see in the coerced mass injections in Israel. Netanyahu declared that the population of Israel was the lab rat of the world, handing over the people he is charged to protect to Pfizer for the experimentation with their plasmid DNA-contaminated mRNA/ Lipid Nanoparticle serum. Israel became one of the most injected states on Earth. The adverse events and deaths are staggering. Why should anyone trust that any of Bibi's actions reflect anything but loathing for all of the inhabitants of the Middle East?
To be honest, i read through this very quickly, and with a heavy heart. a couple of months ago i would have enthusiastically agreed with every word and circulated this article to as many people as i could. i was 100% on board Robert's campaign. But now I pause, and I wonder. Robert's recent statements on the newest mideast war are completely different from the anti war rhetoric of his uncle and his father, and completely different from what we love when he talks about unity and healing the divides, and becoming free of the military industrial complex. I almost donated another few thousand dollars to tell him this personally. But I am holding onto my money and my support until I hear him change his tune. I know I am not alone with these sentiments. I hope and I trust he will.
Agree, I don't hear him calling for a ceasefire. I don't hear him saying no more money to these foreign countries. I haven't heard him come out against those calling for censorship against the pro-Palestine protests, or the abuse the police are inflicting upon the protestors.
He talks about seeing the other perspective, but he doesn't seem to be willing to do that with those of us who oppose the foreign aid; he doesn't seem to want to listen to those of us who don't want our tax dollars used for the welfare state.
Nothing is FREE, it comes from the taxpayers. It is never FREE.
I agree with Kennedy on the issues addressed in your article, especially about government corruption, the wars we're engaged in, covert operations, and taking care of business at home. The current US government is psychotic, corrupt and out of control.
It isn't just the executive branch; it's the entire federal government to include Congress.
Congress is even worse than the Biden regime because Congress has failed its constitutional responsibilities and duties, is as corrupt as the Biden administration, and is allowing this regime to operate as a totalitarian and treasonous government.
If Kennedy wins, he'll face the same challenges as Trump faced, and will be undermined just as Trump was. He'll be viciously attacked even worse than he is now.
I support RFK, Jr. He would make an excellent president - IF he can withstand the attacks, and all the corruption that will surround him.
Sorry Aaron, but RFK, Jr.'s refusal to vigorously join the majority of the world's population calling for an immediate cease fire in the Middle East and insisting on the UN sanctioned two-state solution is NOT a new "peace policy" for the United States. It's the same old establishment war party garbage of the past 20 years in sheep's clothing. Labelling China, Iran or the BRICS as America's "enemies" is right out of the MIC's endless wars playbook. Although I happily attended the independent candidacy announcement in Philadelphia and was interviewed and covered by the Kennedy Beacon, this phony RFK, Jr. "peace" plan is a definite deal breaker for me. Too bad.
Bobby kind of lost me with his demonstrated support of Israel, waving their flag and responding verbally with support like mainstream does. I had such high hopes that he would stand up for what is right. The issue is so convoluted, but I’m certain he knows that Hamas was developed by moussed and cia, that this is all a constructed disaster like all the others. It’s all about manipulation to freak us all out, depopulate as is part of the plan, and power.
Fantastic article for a worthwhile world equilibrium by Aaron.
BUT:
Fantastic Contradiction when the Kennedy of today approves, and supports the Genocide of Palestinians which started in 1948 with the UN giving permission for Jews to settle in Palestine...
Instead of looking for a peaceful integration, systematically the Zionist-Jew-Controllers aggressively proceeded to kill and take over the homes and farms of the Palestinians killing when needed.
Amazing that RFK Jr. swallowed the Propaganda that the Zionists managed to produce.
Smart enough not to swallow Vaccine propaganda but not enough to not swallow this one
Totally disenchanted I am ... no, I am not Arab/Muslim fanatic or even supporter, nor I excuse Hamas in any way.. but I excuse much less the disproportionate and purposeful murder of children and civilians for the ethnic cleansing of the land the Zionists want. Amazed that RFK Jr. is not denouncing this!!!
RFK Jr should listen to the protests of the Jews that denounce the Netanyahu ethnic cleansing practice.
And also this criticism goes to his supporters who keep this under the rug when it is totally contrary to RFK Jr's own Quest for Peace concept. Peace except when I do not want it???
Yes, yes, yes! Thank you!
But he is offering thoughts and prayers? I thought much more of him.
Feeling what you feel, writing about your feelings, regarding the horrific acts in Gaza and Israel is the most important thing we can do for ourselves and others. 🙄
Speak to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, Bobby!
Exactly!

Anybody seen the Kruschev JFK letters published in 1999 ? Why is it not in any library !
Too bad.
I wish I could vote for RFK Jr. today!
