Isn't it interesting that the prior administration had no problem whatsoever about shamming, shameing, damning and defaming the Republican Party for every crime or accusation that they themselves were guilty of including theft, and even assault and battery, while....hiding the evidence from the public, the press detail from the public and refusing to provide records of money for favor and kickback's from Business institutions, revenue goods and public services in on the ruse. Many thousands of immigrant refugees thought the gifts and pay for travel and citizenships were gifts from the American people....they were sold out on a bill of goods that were just plane evil and criminal acts to our citizens.

The second to last paragraph of this post is the most important. Virtually nothing the government does with our tax dollars should be secret.

And not an ounce of shame in the vulgar assault on their own fellow citizens.

We do not have "freedom of the press" when 6,200 journalists (!) are paid by our government in over 700 media outlets. And...one must wonder how many of these journalists are actually editors who are gatekeepers to what is being published (or not!).

I agree. What Elon Musk and his team have uncovered is a huge service to the nation and democracy. This explains why mainstream media looks the same all the time.

Looks the same because the MSM is owned by 5 mega-corporations. Will Musk report any improper payments to any of his business interests?

The Censorship/Propaganda Industrial Complex.

More proof that our media is not there for us. They've sold journalism to the highest bidder. That's why the message never varies.

The corruption is so widespread and deep that there can be no trust left in the mainstream media.

THIS is the story of stories. Well done, as always, Adam. Keep us KB-level-posted! Smh at the extreme levels of government corruption and dismantling of journalism and the First Amendment, and destruction of the public's faith in both media and government.

Lets set the record Straight on the Wuhan/China Covid Connection!

SARS Covid 2 ORIGINATED from the University of North Carolina and Dr Ralph Baric under the funding and supervision of Anthony Fauci and the NIH! China became involved secondarily. THIS IS/WAS A US MILITARY Bioweapon project!! The NIH/CDC holds MULTIPLE PATENTS on it, dating back over 30 years!! Dr. David E Martin, CEO of M-CAM the patent funding company, has stated unequivocally that these viruses are primarily an American project. If you read Robert F Kennedy, Junior book “Wuhan, The Coverup” it becomes abundantly clear that after World War II, our own military imported from both Nazi Germany and fascist Japan, the sadistic scientists who created these bio weapons and the EVIL culture that goes with them!

I hardly hear anyone talking about US involvement. Must be a very unpopular topic....as the truth usually is.

Explains why we're in so much debt and unable to help our own that paid into all of the systems like me. I worked my whole life and when it came time to needing some help, there's very little available after paying in my whole life and what about the people with the disasters? Why can't we help them with this explains the priorities not the people

Hopefully the first step forward to an open honest government. Us reading citizens have known that something went too far lately. The news has suffered with the pay to play system. Time for change.

Put the brakes on. Identifying the problem can lead to effective action to clean up the corruption. To dismantle the whole program is an injustice to the good the agency has and can continue to do. That is, building relationships and partnerships across the globe. It's the old "throwing the baby out with the bathwater" thing again. We are operating to the lowest common denominator when we demolish instead of fix. Always a bad idea.

I understand your sentiment, however the USAID is far, far removed from its original purpose. Less than ten cents on the dollar now goes to humanitarian entities and assistance.
