The NY Times is an un-credible, globalist-controlled propaganda/censorship mouthpiece for globalist agendas. RFK, Jr. doesn't fit in with those agendas, so of course the lackeys at NYT and other news outlets will falsely discredit him.

You forgot “deep state”. ;)

NYT is not even a shadow of a shadow of what it once was. I canceled my NYT subscription a long time ago.

DO IT!! You never know...what's the harm in trying. Maybe forward this article with a note about relevancy and the aging of their reader demographic.

I would ask her to watch a long form interview with RFK Jr. by someone she admires, someone who won't pull any punches. I would ask her to investigate the time after he quit drugs and alcohol when he traveled as a vagabond throughout the US and South America and how that changed him, showed him how people with NO money live. And I would ask her to talk to foremost scientists who are not bought and paid for by the Pharmaceutical Industry whether there is anything to his views on the correlation between the passing of the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act and the explosion in autism diagnoses in the United States since then. That Act led to a vaccine schedule that now includes 72 (or more?) vaccines for children in the complete ABSENCE of any PROPER double-blind long term safety data. If she's a REAL investigative journalist and not just a shill for the DNC, then she should be able to drum up plenty of evidence that Kennedy's views are not crackpot theories, but are based on FACTS compiled over DECADES. (Sorry for the all caps, but it infuriates me that a journalist who's won the Pulitzer Prize would write a hack job like the one she put her name on). She needs to understand that he did not want to get involved with the vaccine issue and said no to the mother's of injured children many times before he was finally convinced to read the massive stack of evidence they handed him. A weaker man, a man of lesser conscience would have still said no, but his conscience made him then agree to help them, because he knew it was the right thing to do. I hope this helps. I really hope you can diplomatically suggest to her that she's doing herself and the entire country a disservice by maligning a man whom I believe could be the best POTUS the US has seen, maybe ever.

She could also reach out to fellow journalist Dick Russell, who wrote The Real RFK Jr. Dick met Kennedy in Baja California when they both got involved in the fight against the Mitsubichi Salt Mine that was proposed for the San Ignacio Lagoon, the calving grounds of the Gray Whale. This is an example of an action taken by a man who does things for the greater good, not for his own good - very few people are even aware of his involvement in that fight alongside Mexican fishermen, whale watching tour guides and a small group of ex patriot environmentalists.

Yes, Trump derangement is real.

The case is entirely without merit as there was no harm done to anyone. Arrogant judges. They are the problem. They are political hacks, not judges.

Have you talked to poor people about the harm they had to endure and still are? Unfortunately the environment can’t tell you how much harm was done under Drumpf! Stay in your bubble, Michael!! #kennedy24

Expand full comment

If he were charged and convicted of the crime of harming poor people (if that, in an of itself is a crime) then maybe your counterpoint would have some merit. But, as the original post points out, his "conviction" was for a fraud that never happened -- the banks weren't defrauded, they were repaid their loans, there was not a single loss. TDS really does blind a whole lot of people

You Trumpsters are delusional!! Guess my comment went way over your head!! All you people can comment about is TDS. You all crack me up and I thank you for the laughs!! Keep defending the grifter. #kennedy24

Wow. You certainly are misinformed. By the way my bubble includes Kennedy. You obviously suffer from TDS. Lawfare is real also bubblegirrrrrl. They are suffering much more under biden. And you can't even spell Trump. Must be a college graduate.

If you look into the history of Drumpf, this is how the name was spelled! And you assume way too much!! Cheers.

The New York Times has turned into sheer garbage. Someone gave me a subscription but I won't pay a dime to renew it. Manhattan millionaires and wannabes are their audience. These people fiddle while the world burns.

It's a pity you had to go anti Trump. Trump Derangement Syndrome has infected you as well to the extent that you cannot see Kennedy and Trump are on the same side pushing back against the UniParty? You are doing Kennedy whom I am especially fond of no service, how incredibly stupid, you just do not get it do you? I almost unsubscribed , comments from others in the same vein of dismay stopped me ... what a stupid attitude you have ... you will degrade Kennedy, who has enormous support among Trump supporters, with your stupidity ...

Amen. See my comment to Mark Higgins, below. I'm another Republican seriously considering Kennedy but...

How can one writer's opinion bias you against the candidate? I'm sorry, but that makes me scratch my head. If I may be so bold, I'd like to suggest that everyone just focus on the candidate and their platform of policies rather than who says what about them or an alternate candidate.

I love this article! Especially after watching “A Dangerous Game” last night, with both RFK and DT. A documentary about a Scottish golf course. You can guess who the villain was, RFK played an environmental loving, truth sayer. Thank you Blake Fleetwood.

"All the news that's fit to print." That slogan the NYT has had since 1897 is meaningless. Has been meaningless for the past 30 years. The NYT, for the past few decades, is nothing more than a propaganda mouthpiece. What a pity.

The New York Times should be charged with crimes against humanity for their relentless lies promoting Iraq/Afghan wars and selling Monsanto gmo as safe technology long before they pushed Covidian lies & long list of misinformation that perpetuates ways the public are dying for profiteers. It's a head scratcher they have anyone who respects them as a news org the swill is shameful.

It’s obvious that The NY Times, along with the 3 letter networks, MSDNC, and other major newspaper outlets are nothing more than state media, comparable to the Russian Pravda and state television in the USSR, but with the flash of Hollywood in their headlines to hook you. But when you read the story, there’s nothing validates the headline, and in most cases the body of the article refutes the headline. Is there any wonder that major news outlets are failing in such a spectacular way? Let them die, and they can take their totalitarian state sponsors with them, while the people usher in a new era of honest journalism.

When Drudgereport was actually run by Drudge .. that was his irresistible angle .. he highlighted the lead that the mainstream press buried, within their own stories! In other words, how often the actual reports contradicted the narrative-supporting headlines.

It’s a shame you reference Trump’s political business dealings conviction. It is clearly underhanded lawfare. Yet you want us to believe RFK Jr is the only one they are targeting? You’re now guilty of the same misinformation.

Mark, thanks. A site supporting Kennedy should not utilize that "trial" in an.effort to prove RFK Jr good, Trump bad. I thought this type of campaigning was out of bounds to Bobby, I thought he was an issues and solutions candidate, not a mud slinger. Am I wrong?

Bobby didn't write this piece. Let's keep things in perspective folks. It's one person's take on what the media are doing.

The Kennedy Beacon is the Substack for the RFK Jr. Super PAC. I know their words are not RFK Jr.'s words, as a PAC can't coordinate with a candidate. I believe that both Trump and RFK Jr. Are being unfairly treated by the msm. I do not demand that Bobby or his supporters share this belief. But cheap shots on another "outsider" candidate, even by his PAC, do not further Bobby's message, and may actually be detrimental to it.

I read the New York Times piece. It's an odd one. It ends with the fact that Bobby Kennedy had been paid $5 million for his work at his own law firm in the previous 18 months. That's a lot of money. Where did that come from? The piece doesn't say.

My objection to Bobby Kennedy is not that he is trust fund brat, but that he believes in things that just aren't true. Not just his anti-vaccine stance, but his belief (for example) that Wi-Fi breaks down the blood-brain barrier and causes disease. He says there are hundreds of studies that show that. That's false. There are none.

We cannot afford a president who believes in conspiracy theories. Donald Trump says some weird things, but that's just hyperbole. He's grounded in reality. Bobby Kennedy is not.

Trump is classic Dunning-Kruger…the Bush Republican agenda was so batshit crazy that some guy spouting common sense with very superficial knowledge of issues could take over the party. The most obvious example of his lack of in depth understanding of issues was appointing Tillerson as SoS…Tillerson is essentially a member of the Qatar royal family and Kushner and Trump knew they were going to buddy up with MBS and so appointing Tillerson was super dumb. So Trump clearly did not have a deep understanding of the Middle East but his policies still made more sense than the Bush/Cheney platform.

If Trump or Nikki chose RfK Jr. as their VP I would be at peace.

Expand full comment

VP has zero power unless the president gives them a portfolio and even then they aren’t in the chain of command. They are elected and so they do get to serve a full term and can’t be fired until the next ticket is formed…but that still doesn’t mean they have power unless the president dies or is removed at which time they become president.

Expand full comment

We wouldn't want RFK to have actual power, we want him to have a platform to be heard. VP is perfect for him (and a very bad fit for someone as inarticulate as Harris).

Thank you for this very important piece Blake! The bias is infuriating and needs to be given greater attention in all forms of media, but especially the MSM. Hopefully you can use your connections to get that into some of these publishers' heads. They are making themselves less and less relevant with every hit piece and are moronic if they can't figure out that this is precisely why their subscriptions are dropping like "weeds" treated with glyphosate.
