Are there fewer school shootings at schools with pet animals? (I saw a story about a school with a pet cat and that reminded me, I hadnt heard of a school shooting for a while). Not to jinx you, but maybe pets are the answer. Now how to extrapolate that to gun violence in general. Maybe every neighbourhood could have pet zones or something similar.
