I am currently following the Kennedy24bus as part of the Kennedy 2024 caravan currently cruising around South Carolina. I am proud that what I thought was going to be the introduction of the Kennedy 2024 campaign has mostly been the welcoming of our little effort and our fellow Americans already have heard that there is an alternative to the war politics, environmental distruction and millionaire policies that are the only options discussed by the major media. Let's take our country back, let the people speak.
Mr Kennedy spoke of the “merger of state and corporate power”..... hmmm didn’t Benito Mussolini use very similar words when defining fascism? Alongside the jailing of whistleblowers and legally charging political opponents, creeping authoritarianism and a compliant “on message” media no longer willing (or able) to challenge power but rather they propagate and disseminate propaganda of the ruling party, a surveillance state, censorship and militarism, the US is more and more like il Ducé’s definition with each new law and new year.
That’s the necessary background to understand the very first thing RFKjr said in his official capacity as a presidential candidate: that he intended, “to end the corrupt merger of state and corporate power that is threatening now to impose a new kind of corporatism.” No one has come out on our side like this since his father and uncle, and I’ll do everything I can to support him b/c of that.

At the same time I would strongly suggest that what appears in The Guardian or The Nation are “donor class” concerns.
The people this campaign needs energize as voters [the huge swath of disaffected middle class and working class folks inc. minorities who can see for themselves and have experienced for themselves the incompetence of the present Administration] never heard of Naomi Klein or The Guardian and could care less.
