Saturday News Round Up – Reaching Out to the Youth of America, RFK Jr. Calls on Americans to Vote Based on Hope, Not Fear
“We have completely betrayed a generation of American kids. Not telling them vote for Biden because, you know, we’re scared. Rather, vote for somebody whose vision you believe in that gives you hope for our country.” – RFK Jr.

RFK Jr. is reaching out to young Americans and inviting them back into the political process. He acknowledges that the nation’s political leadership, and we do not mean just President Biden, has not inspired them with political discourse worthy of their involvement. The Kennedy Campaign will request Secret Service protection for the third time. Here is today’s coverage of the ongoing threats to RFK Jr.:
“The thing I worry most about is the politicization of our law enforcement agencies,” Kennedy said. “It is disturbing – the apparent weaponization of the Secret Service while Biden provides protection to his family members and political allies. And then he denies it to political rivals,” Kennedy said of Biden. “It is not good optics for the world of exemplary democracy.” – RFK Jr trespasser included in Secret Service risk assessment months before DHS denied protection: source | Fox News.

More Kennedy News:
“‘Folks have a desire to elect someone who’s anti-establishment,’ Republican strategist Kyle Plotkin said, adding that Kennedy supporters appear to be those favoring a ‘political realignment’ and who don’t neatly fit in with the two-party system. ‘Kennedy has represented that,’ Plotkin said. That’s why there is an attraction to him.’” – Meet RFK Jr.’s eclectic, ragtag donor army threatening Biden and Trump in 2024 | Washington Examiner

Could it be that nobody knows? Votes belong to the voter, not to a political party. In the end the people will decide – not the pollsters.

Bidenomics – The economy is not going well. The elites can absorb an increase in food and gas prices, but the middle class and working poor are being squeezed:

Presidential campaigns should not be waged out of fear or to avenge the result of a previous election. Fear and vengeance sound like the politics of Roman emperors – not men aspiring to be President of the United States.
People want someone to vote for. I believe RFK Jr.’s appeal to youth is spot on. Campaigns are about the future and the country we will turn over to the next generation. Let us campaign on hope.

My sister sent me an article on Dean Phillips, who is running as a "younger Biden". I told her he couldn't get into the primary, but she replied with a link to a tutorial on the election process and a link to a September Washington Post article about DNC pushing back against Kennedy.
So, I think the voters need a bit more education on what the DNC is doing and how it affects all candidates.
It appears to many of us that the US and Israel are in process of igniting WWIII. The cheerleading is being led by Trump, the evangelicals, and right-wing propaganda sites like Fox and Breitbart. Biden is totally the creature of the military-industrial complex and hedge funds like BlackRock that own Lockheed, etc. Please forgive me for being more than a little curious as to where Mr. Kennedy stands on all this.
