The Arthurian knights! Galahad, Perceval, Gawain and all the others. Each of them / us joining to fight evil. Then, in the stories and now, in times when it seemed that we were going to loose the final battle.

Don't know how but it seems that most of mankind could feel the seriousness of the loss of the two great knights named John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy. (Even here in Holland, everybody older than 66/67 remembers where he or she was at the moment of the assassination of JFK.) Today, for most people, the moral sense with which they felt this seriousness must still exist. I hope that in the coming months a lot of people will come to recognize RFKjr. as a great Arthurian knight and join the fight. Thank you to the Kennedy Beacon team for contributing to greater awareness of RFK Jr.!

Thanks for an interesting background on his passion for falconry, and happy to support this falconry event through supporting the vital work of CHD!

This is an amazing story. How a young man in the midst of turmoil, sadness, and grief occupied his mind with the things he loved, to get through tough times.

A breath of fresh air. After a lifetime of watching the con artists in office, worldwide, I truly believed we would never see the like of RFK. The mainstream media has done a tremendous amount of work into moulding the public’s opinion of him. When you listen to him for a few hours, all the lies are exposed surrounding his work, and beliefs. He is a man of integrity, of bravery and honesty.

We are the same generation and the same books spoke to me and helped to form my thoughts and desires as well.

T.H. White's "The Once and Future King," is one of the greatest books ever written, imho. I read it as a child and was permanently entranced by it's insights and deep wisdom. The natural world holds all, ALL of Creation, and the human world the complexities of our psyches. Both are presented in a manner like no other in that great classic.

I choose to grow up on the back of a horse, in wilderness or undeveloped forests, in the Adirondacks and Central Florida immersed in the same natural world as Wart, albeit without Merlin to transform and educate me, lol, but drawn in permanently to that great awareness that is Nature.

(My educational I had to find in books, and I did, whether it was Milton, Tolstoy or Kipling.)

"My Side of the Mountain" was another story merged into the natural world which holds us all and which drew me deeper in as well. Books can be our greatest gifts through the minds and hearts that resonate with each one of us, and their characters provide us a star, a pilot's compass to our hearts.

Later on both "Green Mansions" & "Lost Horizons" moved me deeply and gave me yet more insight into our current world and it's values and failings, still as a youth.

The Natural World is our Greatest Gift and Inheritance and within it we are Whole. The wisdom and mystery it contains is endless.

The harms in our natural world harm us just as much, because of that truth, and we would be wise to finally learn it.

God Bless Bobby Kennedy; he is a man after my own heart, I do believe!

And now I know more as to why.

I was lucky enough to live in an area where I could walk to the countryside in 5 mins, and stay immersed in it till dark. Man’s disconnect from nature, and thus his own true nature, has led us to this precarious position. We need multiple RFKs. And I believe they are out there. And will have an audience sick of the old, destructive ways of governing. God bless you, your family, and RFK.

It's great to see a Camelot-era art practiced by a Knight worthy of the Round Table being used to raise money for CHD.

In my corner of the world, there is a family of Peregrine falcons who have taken up residence in the University of California, Berkeley's bell tower and have become local stars. These falcons of course have their own website and live webcam coverage ( https://calfalcons.berkeley.edu/webcams/ ).

Thank you for sharing this! My young adult children are spend a lot of time on the land and are enthralled with wildlife particularly birds of prey. And they are thrilled (as am I) that RFKJr has chosen to serve in public office.

Just finished reading Falcon by Helen McDonald after loving her book H is for Hawk several years ago. It takes integrity to train hawks. They read our energy more clearly than we do and act accordingly. It speaks volumes that RFK Jr has been involved with falconry as long as he has.

An inspired idea for sure ! As with so many of the good things in life it's the anticipation and imagining of it that brings us joy. An event to be shared with the kids and grandkids for sure !

I can't imagine how it would be to have a bird of prey on my arm, or use a bird of prey to hunt rabbits etc. I wonder how the birds are kept, in some kind of cage I would suppose. Is it fair to the bird? Lots of folks think it is cruel, as the bird is kept 24-7 but only gets out say once a day. I am not so sure I would be promoting the idea, and not sure it will be well received by the public.
