Another share-worthy article. Thank you, Leah Watson. Changing the subject though, is anyone fooled by these commenters who come here and use ad hominem for their ridiculous arguments? It's actually laughable. The behavior proves the establishment is desperate, that much is certain.
Agree! If you look at a particular profile- misspelled words so probably a troll getting paid. Or even just an angry person. I won't name names, but some are very obvious.
I can tell you that it is the same for people from the Republican side of the aisle. The game is to keep the power in Washington and they don’t really care who wins as long as it’s a horse race. That gives them the best chance at raising money for the way they like to live.
I’m always plastering your wall with my essays so forgive me!
Excellent and clear explanation of our populations are controlled. But history and evolution prove it doesn’t work. Onward to unity, saving our planet and ourselves. It’s our 7th generation obligation.
I don’t know about America but in the UK nobody ever voted for the party system period. It was imposed on us, we have an effective two party system too but it is under threat from Reform.
However all the establishment needs to do is paint them as racist and far right and bang the two party system returns.
This battle that RFK Jr and his volunteers are leading is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. So grateful for him getting it started, it’s monumental!!! Onward!♥️🤍💙
Leah Watson is a very impressive writer, as a reporter, she’s an example of refined thoughtful and investigative information served to the public reader to preserve true and unbiased political news!! We need more journalists reporting the real political facts to our country’s citizens! Thank you Leah Watson..
As a non-American, I simple can’t understand how the power to control candidate debates is left to the MSM like ABC, FOX etc.
With the number of critical campaign issues on the table, from wars to inflation to declining American
health spans and even life spans, it would only seem reasonable for THE PEOPLE to have control over the number and timing of public debates. And without mandated public debates, it is corporate control behind the scenes that gets to direct the conversation.
Absolutely love this article. Thank you for sharing it. I have sent it to several friends to read and will use it for talking points if given the chance to discuss!!
There are certain policies on which the two parties are alike, namely spend, spend, spend. However, you ignore important differences on matters like the economy, taxation, illegal immigration, DEI nonsense, the Middle East, government handouts (for housing, electrification), energy policy. These are important differences, but by all means vote for RFK Jr. if you can if you think he represents differences.
Did you watch the entire interview?? I am not excusing the bear escapade by any means- everyone has their own feelings on that, but he is a highly intelligent human. He is very educated on all the topics. I do not see the US doing better. Hiding the truth about Biden's mental decline and no policies for Harris? Yes, Trump has his issues as well. I am not sure we CAN do better, so do you have someone in mind who has the courage Bobby has shown? I think Tulsi, Rand Paul... but they were driven away as well by the duopoly.
I understand the food chain thing. I still do not excuse the bear escapade as I am sure there are things we do not know that took place. My feelings are that non of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. It is what we do with those mistakes that matter and I would say that Bobby learns from his mistakes and does better. That to me matters- learn and change for the better to be the best human you can be.
Which genocide are you referring to? There are presently 5 reported genocides that have been going on even longer than the one I assume you meant in the ME. Myanmar- Rohingya population, South Sudan- Nuers, Iraq, Syria- Christains, Shiites, Yazidis, CAR- Christians, Moslems, Sudan- Fur, non-arabs. Christians are dying in the ME in great numbers but we get no "propaganda/ news" about them. There are even christians in Gaza and Israel.
How can RFK do anything about the ME, when the MSM is bashing him at every turn about things they have to dig up like the bear story. The DNC is petrified of him stopping their gravy train, elite power, game of control.
BTW: Anyone who understands nature would understand why RFK a man who is an outdoorsman would pick up a roadkill baby bear off the road.
He's has a respect for nature, and the environment. That bear is part of the food chain, and since RFK owns raptors (Falcons, Hawks, etc) the bear meat would be fed to these birds. Reuse, recycle, repurpose is natures way (and I was raised in an inner city, yet I totally get that).
Leaving the bear in Central Park with the bicycle was a comment on the fact that bikers were being killed in NY due to lack of, or poor bike lanes. It was a statement, and growing up in the area I know NYers have a sense of humor and that even the police were probably amused. RFK is far from disturbed, but many great people are called crazy before people catch up with thier ideas.
US people, see that's the problem. We are Americans, we are family, same species. And I can love you without agreeing with you. But also, let's discuss and get the facts straight.
I spent my career with injured, disabled, abused, children. I also treated children who were victims of an American terrorist attack. So I’m good with my humanity.
I don’t think of people as their religion, ethnicity, gender, etc. I see them as souls.
It’s hard to know where you’re coming from… but yes the duopoly, corporate, elite taking over of our country has been devastating. But I haven’t given up hope and I do see RFK as self-actualized, not self-serving, and equipped to dismantle the duopoly, EPA, FDA, FCC, etc etc.
How? I’ve researched his law career, THE CHILDRENS HEALTH DEFENSE,WATERKEEPERS, read many of his books, listened to 150 pre-candidacy podcasts, etc. The 12 step program changes a person, always for the better.
Oh man this must be how Kennedy feels, I’m torn between different views and wish for the division to stop. This was a well written article. Leah should be given the campaign’s pen more often.
Let me preface this by stating I’m voting for Trump this time around, and have put a lot of thought into it, swinging back and forth between him and RFKJr. So my reply to you is coming from being a Trump supporter.
I understood your reply, except … I disagree that Kennedy’s campaign objective is to poison the well. Just because that’s the natural consequence of a third party IN THE PRESENT CLIMATE AND SITUATION (wish we had italics as a choice sorry,) does not mean that is his objective at all. I can understand how the hateful divide between parties creates such a simplistic response. Frankly I blame the Democratic Party for creating any hate or antagonism towards Kennedy. It works for them. But it’s just more of the same tactics we have got to stop. In case you are unaware, our party is trying to rally behind a man that also wants this division to stop. But your response neither reflects that nor engages in a healthy back and forth discourse. It just seeks to shut down conversation and try to kill off what you see as a threat. We have been groomed in the same way the left has, (not by Trump mind you, but by monkey see monkey do after observing the democrats in action,) and we need to snap out of it.
Kennedy truly sees what many of the rest of our country sees, that the corruption is on BOTH sides and only the American people can vote it out. I believe he is earnest. Anytime I read that he truly is still more of the same Democratic ideology in disguise and we should be wary of him I stop and wonder who on which of the two main party sides spread that uncertainty? The uniparty is like the snake in the Garden of Eden whispering into ears to exact a division.
I can’t say for 100% certainty Kennedy is pure and wouldn’t jump right back into bed with the wolves on the current left once in power, but we can’t say that with certainty about any candidate. I do feel more certain Trump is less likely to sleep with the enemy knowingly given just how much he is on the outside of the circus.
This brings me back to the natural consequence of a third party poisoning the well. I struggle with this. How can we as a country preserve the necessary two party system to protect a true majority rule when both of the parties are corrupt and seem to refuse being changed from the inside by a sound mind candidate such as Kennedy? We are in a catch 22. We need to preserve the two party system because I will ONLY respect the rule of a leader who truly has greater than 50% of the public voting for them. If it were possible for an independent candidate to get more than 50%, then it would be worth it, and then that candidate had better make some drastic, irreversible changes to put our government power back in line with the Constitution.
I honestly don’t see Kennedy having that 50% in time and that’s SOLELY due to the censorship that the left has wielded the past 4-8 years. I’m concerned there is not enough time for him and his message to get to more American people in the same way the two parties are able to do. Heck even Trump has had a hard time being heard fairly and it took Musk to make it happen. Because of what the left has done to this country and the radical censorship every other candidate now faces, I believe we need to be supporting the other main party. Trump is even more of an outsider than Kennedy is so in voting for him we are not voting for “the republican RINOS”. I’ll do my best to vote those guys out to the best of my ability to know who they are.
I do hope that Trump wins and changes things so that there is NO government/media led censorship for the next election and there will be more time for Kennedy to have the public mic. I’d love to see some of his agenda come to fruition.
Let’s start to walk our talk and leave less divisive replies.
THIS! Very well said. I agree wholeheartedly except I have not made my final decision. I don't want to make it too early because everything is so up in the air. But to be clear NO WAY am I voting DNC, Harris, or anyone aligning or even close to aligning with her.
Another share-worthy article. Thank you, Leah Watson. Changing the subject though, is anyone fooled by these commenters who come here and use ad hominem for their ridiculous arguments? It's actually laughable. The behavior proves the establishment is desperate, that much is certain.
There are one or two individuals who are so dedicated to spamming our comments section, that I occasionally wonder if it's their full-time job!
Just ignore the ad hominem comments. They need attention. Don't give it to them.
IOW don't feed the trolls.
Agree! If you look at a particular profile- misspelled words so probably a troll getting paid. Or even just an angry person. I won't name names, but some are very obvious.
Leah Watson you've written a superb article that really explains the situation very well!

Vote for the individual NOT the party.

Awesome, Leah. Thank you.
Ranked Choice Voting would solve a lot.
But there are a lot of details that depend on the party system, such as the minority/majority leader, rules in House and Senate, etc.
Absolutely love this article. Thank you for sharing it. I have sent it to several friends to read and will use it for talking points if given the chance to discuss!!
Here's how news media is writing RFK Jr. off:
"RFK Jr. is ‘null and void’ for the rest of the election after voters join Harris"

Here’s a similar viewpoint:

Please explain what you just wrote. Your claim is utterly confusing.
