“My father used to bring us to the southeast of Washington to meet people who were poor. Or he’d take us to the Mississippi delta, or West Virginia to Appalachia, or the Indian reservations. And he always said to us, ‘These are your people.’ He said the people who are wealthy, who are big corporate leaders and titans, they don’t need the Kennedys. They have lawyers, PR firms and lobbyists. And he said, ‘When you get older, I want you to do something about those people.’ That’s one of the reasons I’m running.” - RFK, Jr.

We wrap with something I wanted to elaborate on further - the real reason why President Biden does not want to debate RFK, Jr. - Frank Luntz’s Warning to Biden – Team Kennedy.
I cannot count the number of times people in leadership have criticized RFK, Jr. on any number of issues and have declined to debate him. They claim all sorts of excuses as they run away from the podium, jump into their limousines and disappear into the night. But the real reason is that RFK, Jr. is a brilliant man who researches his issues thoroughly and prepares meticulously. Frank Luntz experienced this and knows that President Biden would not be able to debate RFK, Jr.
And without attacking the President personally, we must all acknowledge that this is a significant problem for country.
Enjoy Labor Day and celebrate the people who built America.
