Everything these days seems to be a sham. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are constantly violated, as well as the rule of law. And, what’s worse, is that at least 99% of citizens don’t even ‘notice’ this ongoing disaster. Our government has proven it’s merely a mirage, or a facade for the evil corruption. Reminds me of the false building fronts of small western town stage sets in old movies. None of it is real, or as it is ‘presented’.

Now more than ever, perception trumps reality.

Hooray for Oliver Hall, the Center for Competitive Democracy and Theresa Amato for defending -- always -- a more competitive field and the unrigging of our democracy. Thank you!

Perot debated Clinton and H.W. Bush in 1992 and outshined them both with his genuineness, common-sense approach (e.g., paying off the national debt, balancing the budget, opposing foreign lobbyists), and stated refusal to engage in mudslinging. His humor was also so very appealing and he clearly gained the audience’s favor as the debate progressed. You can watch the debate on YouTube, moderated by PBS veteran Jim Lehrer. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cm-UAfEdWg4 ) If RFK Jr. gets on the debate stage, as he should, he will absolutely annihilate Sleepy Joe and The Orange Man, which is why they are so terrified of that possibility and will undoubtedly do everything in their power to stop him.

CNN needs to invite RFK to be a part of their debate immediately. Other networks should do the same.

'...CNN’s list of criteria, and its failure to comply with them, “a mere sham perpetrated upon the public at the behest of Mr. Biden’s and Mr. Trump’s campaigns.”'

There's no doubt about that. From what I've read, it's mostly demands by the Biden camp—Trump would probably merrily engage with anyone willing to show up. I'm actually surprised Biden agreed to debate at all; they probably figure he'll do OK against blowhard Trump, but I don't think either major candidate would stand a chance against someone as knowledgeable and well-spoken as RFK Jr.

Not that the last decades of presidential debates have been anything more than canned performances anyway.

It’s distressing to watch the same thing occurring in the US that we just witnessed during Putin’s re-election in Russia. Get rid of the opposition in whatever way possible. Mind boggling to know that millions of Americans think this rigged process is ok.

Do you suppose mainstream news will cover this story?

Where is Fox? I'd like to see a debate hosted by Jesse Watters. Competition is free market capitalism.
