In New Video, Kennedy’s Security Lead Appeals for Support
Plea follows continued threats to Kennedy and the Biden administration’s denial of Secret Service protection
Renowned security expert Gavin de Becker issued an urgent appeal, by video, to supporters of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s Presidential campaign, requesting donations to help cover essential security expenses.
The appeal came a week after an armed man, identified as Adrian Paul Aispuro, was arrested for entering a Kennedy event in Los Angeles pretending to be a federal marshal. It also follows months of the Biden administration denying Kennedy Secret Service protection.
As others have noted, the mainstream media has shown remarkably little interest in taking a deep dive into this story. Who exactly is Aispuro? Did someone put him up to the job? The Kennedy Beacon will investigate and bring you the news we uncover.
In his video about security threats Kennedy faces, de Becker tells a disturbing story of the arrest of another man, who he described as "mentally ill.” Earlier in September, this man broke into Kennedy’s home demanding to speak directly with the presidential candidate. This was not the first time the individual had been arrested for what de Becker referred to as "Kennedy-related intrusions."
De Becker also discussed the incident that took place September 15 at a Kennedy campaign event at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles. During the event celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, Aispuro, posing as a federal agent, demanded to be "taken to Kennedy immediately."
De Becker’s security personnel moved quickly to surround and detain Aispuro until he was arrested by Los Angeles Police officers. During the arrest, which was captured on video and rebroadcast on Fox and other news outlets, the man appeared to be calm despite the intensity of his earlier threats.
The Wilshire Ebell is approximately two miles car from the site of the former Ambassador Hotel where Senator Robert F. Kennedy Sr. was assassinated in 1968, hours after he was declared the winner of the California Democratic Presidential Primary.
De Becker highlighted that following Senator Kennedy’s assassination 55 years ago, it became standard procedure for the Secret Service to offer protection to prominent presidential candidates. According to the Secret Service protocol for candidates in the 2024 election cycle, "Whether, during and within an active and competitive major party primary, the candidate is polling at 15% or more for 30 consecutive days in the most recent average of established national polls, as reflected by the Real Clear Politics National Average or a similar mechanism."
As Chairman of Gavin de Becker and Associates, de Becker has provided 24/7 security to highly prominent figures. He was first appointed to the President's Advisory Board at the United States Department of Justice in 1982, during the Reagan administration, and reappointed to this role in 1989. In addition to his work protecting political figures, de Becker provided security for international celebrities, including Cher, Tina Turner, John Travolta, and many others.
The Kennedy 2024 campaign meets and exceeds the Secret Service criteria. However, due to the fact that decisions to offer this protection also depend on subjective determinations made by the current administration, the Kennedy campaign’s first request for Secret Service protection was denied by the White House.
As of September 22, de Becker disclosed that the Biden administration has not responded to a lengthy threat assessment document he sent them alongside a second formal request for Secret Service protection.
De Becker explained in his video that he is not able to personally cover the costs of private security for Kennedy. Hence the appeal to the public for financial support.
Could you trust the secret service after what happened to JFK?
Biden should be protecting RFK, Jr. Let's not be stupid.
