If RFK,Jr. Is going to stop the forever wars, he could start by not supporting Israel/US in the current Israel/Gaza war. Israel has been a key player in the Military Industrial Complex for decades, as RFK, Jr. knows, so it’s hard to make a case that this present war isn’t part of the forever wars that he wants to end. More than likely it’s AIPAC that is deciding. More than likely it’s AIPAC that is causing RFK, Jr. to lose his moral compass.

I could not agree more strongly as far as policy. But I don't at all think it's AIPAC. Bobby seems to really think for himself. I think a lot of it is the effect of the Holocaust on his generation. Insofar as he's being influenced, I think it's more by where the overall electorate is at - he's really serious about winning this.

And there are two silver linings that could work well together: (1) The Israelis are extremely arrogant and they refuse to deal with anyone who doesn't have a record of coddling them. (2) Bobby has a large capacity to grow.

If only we could all read RFK Jr's secret thoughts since many seem to equate silence with no concern about the Palestinians...I don't make that rush to judgement although it was tempting initially...

I hope you're right!

Oh, it's AIPAC, all right, but not the way all those conditioned to respond by finding fault with the wrong person understand it. AIPAC is already offering huge sums of money for people to primary ANY incumbent who doesn't toe their party line. The Kennedy campaign is already spending the bulk of its revenues on security and ballot access; it can't afford to have to challenge the bottomless pockets of AIPAC, too.

If I recall, RFK Sr. was a supporter of the new Israeli State and wasn't Sirhan, Sirhan a Palestinian?

This list of reasons to vote for RFK Jr satisfies me enough to cast a Kennedy Jr ballot in November. He doesn’t have to walk on water or part the Red Sea. For me the fact he will attack corruption by Big Pharma and work to clean the environment is enough. It is our collective responsibility as seniors to leave a functioning USA that does not wage wars and carry an unforgivable debt to those just beginning their adult lives. How he feels about Palestine and Israel will reveal itself to be very different perhaps than those who infer he supports the current war .

There is no other choice but RFK Jr if we act responsibly to younger generations. Think long term. Think legacy. Think courage, faith and fortitude. The Kennedys have always exhibit those qualities.

Sirhan Sirhan didn't kill him. Like the coroner said, he was killed by someone who got a lot closer to him, obviously (as accepted by RFK Jr.) Thane Eugene Cesar, who was standing next to him and had his gun out when it was all over and was NEVER TESTED to see whether he had fired a shot.

RFK,Jr. said that the US should give the Israelis ‘anything they need’ to fight Hamas in response to October 7th. His campaign manager, Dennis Kucinich, a former congressman known for his anti-war positions, left the campaign shortly thereafter. RFK, Jr. hasn’t denounced the massacre of the Palestinians, and his silence has been deafening.

Linda. On The Kennedy Beacon recently one commentator who has worked with him believes very strongly that RFK Jr is developing a peace plan for the Middle East. Perhaps wait for that before you decide where he stands on this war and why Kucinich left.

Why do people give Truman a hall pass on this issue?

Expand full comment

When Truman’s campaign was out of money and no one wanted him to be President, the Zionist appeared with $2 million cash in a suitcase. When he was President, Truman immediately recognized Israel as soon as it was declared. The bribe remained a secret.

My understanding is that information comes from a "renegade" son of a Zionist leader. So he could very well be in a position to know. But can he be trusted? How much else did he say? If he said a lot, it should be possible to tell if he's trustworthy, because it's hard to keep lies straight. I don't have time to research this, hopefully someone else has. I suspect it's true, but I don't know.

Thank you very much for the reference (and the references it contains). I have long assumed some Israeli role, just from the role of Angleton and Johnson letting them get away with what they did to the sailors on the USS Liberty. But I've thought of it as relatively minor, specifically (besides going along to get along) to get into a position to blackmail Johnson, which the Liberty proves they achieved in my opinion.

I see I have an enormous amount to learn on this aspect (I have not been working on any of this), but I still wouldn't be surprised if Guyenot is jumping to conclusions. It's called the deep state for good reasons, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are even deeper layers of the onion. Just as one piece of the puzzle, one goal of involving Israel could have to warn off people on the left from looking into something that would incriminate their pet.

In my very early politics, I considered myself aligned with the Kennedy New Frontier. JFK was murdered while I was a high school junior. I have studied the assassination since that time. Long ago it became clear who organized it, even who did it, but I could never find a compelling reason why he was murdered, until now. The truth, as opposed to opinion, in the above link is about the bitter dispute between JFK and Israeli prime minister David Ben-Gurion, who believed that his nation’s survival depended on its attaining nuclear capability, and Kennedy, who was vehemently opposed to it. In May 1963, Kennedy wrote to Ben-Gurion explaining why he was convinced that Israel’s pursuit of nuclear weapons capability was a serious threat to world peace. Ben-Gurion resigned upon receiving Kennedy’s letter. The Zionists were now free to pursue a more permanent solution to their Kennedy problem by putting Zionist LBJ in office; it worked. My why question was finally answered.

All these years I supported the Zionist Israeli homeland because Nazi Germany had murdered more that 6 million Jews. I had no idea how criminal and ruthless the Zionist who founded and still rule Israel actually are, including helping Nazi Germany persecute German Jews so those Jews would be compelled to move to Israel. I was further surprised to learn a very large number of Jews were and are still opposed to the creation of Zionist Israel. The Zionists are now acting like German Nazis. Maybe we should call them Zio-Nazis as they are now committing genocide against 7 million Palestinian human beings. All Jews are not Zionists same as all Germans are not Nazis.

zio-nazis sounds exactly right to me, too, Alayna. thank you for coining that. been simply calling them the new nazis, myself. and for exactly the same reasons. as a noted professor says, "the victims have become the perpetrators."

zionism is a dangerous political approach... and has little to nothing to do with Jews as people. all Israelis are not Jews... and as a wonderfully enlightening rabbi in NYC said, calling Israel the 'land of the Jews' is strictly for marketing. Israel is simply a country like USA or France are countries.

I've been thinking about Guyenot's article (above link) some more. I think he's not giving the anti-Communist element of the coup d'etat its due. It's true they didn't get what they wanted in Cuba, but they did trigger an anti-Communist rampage throughout the Third World. Besides Vietnam, 50,000 killed in Brazil starting in 64, 750,000 killed in Indonesia starting in 65, etc. etc. etc. I don't at all mean to denigrate his work on the Israeli aspect, but I think the deep state is deeper than any of us can fathom. see Alayna's comment below... because that is front and center it seems to me. RFK Jr's not likely lost his moral compass or willingly embracing them ... they are running the show is how it appears. looks like they have done this for a very long time.

are you old enough to remember Nov 22, 1963?? seems more and more likely that there's at least a significant connection even back to that horrendous day.

have you read Dr. John Mearsheimer and Dr. Steve Walt's book, The Israel Lobby?

After really immersing ourselves in JFK assassination info all weekend... this highly recommended book is one of the next ones i intend to read, along with Ryan Grim's book coming out next week, The Squad. And there are others, too.

It's looking more and more to me like this is one of the biggest cogs in the wheels of our entire country... preventing anything from working properly for US, the American people.

the disaster happening in Gaza is intimately connected to our gov't and allegedly to US, since we are charged with 'electing' our political leaders in our Constitution. it's even been said by independent news sources and legit journalists that Netanyahu has only 8% approval rating in his own country... and guess who came to consult with him on the current mess *in Jerusalem*?? leaders of that organization both you and Linda named... check it out for yourself.

thanks for the reading suggestions. I have read Linda's post and agree. there is something going on behind the scenes for rfk, jr to make an about face. his campaign seems adrift and has lost energy., he himself has become boring. if he can be so controlled and i do understand the role that organization plays in America--one only need to look as how they are funding candidates to run against the "Squad", then if this is really what the change in rfk, jr is about then he is a total fraud. He was the peace and anti-establishment candidate, the one that was going to shake things up. seems like he has joined the establishment. now if he feels that he has been pressured to kowtow to them and can't be authentic then is he really is the person he made us believe he is, then he should drop out but not join up with the evil policies he was speaking out about so loudly.

Expand full comment

yeah, i see it all very differently. if they are going to control everyone and anyone who dares run and actually 'win' the WH (which seems very likely) ... i'd much rather it's him than most of the other candidates so far.

i don't see him as a fraud at all. have you read about what actually happened to JFK, RFK, MLKJr, Malcom X.... and who knows who else? all people who truly set out to get us on the path to peace for a change ... coincidentally all got assassinated one way or another?

yes I have read about JFK, RFK, MLK, jr. and am old enough to remember it happening. it was a terrible time for america and during the time many americans knew it wasn't a coincidence given the turbulent times though the government had their own version of what happened. still there is something about him that i no longer see as genuine. thanks for your thoughts

Should he put himself in the position of Jimmy Carter? Of Obama? To be conspired against and hated without even doing anything effective against their damned creeping annexation? He is serious about becoming president. And hopefully he is serious about being able to change Israeli policy - otherwise the foreign policy changes he wants will come to nothing, and he's very smart, so hopefully he can see that (in spite of his seeming blind spot on the subject). The bottom line is you have to get power before you can use it. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I totally agree with Joanna.

I don't see any other hope, certainly not from the stinking duopoly.

Another perspective, maybe only my own... His healing of major trauma, beyond the death of his uncle and father, shows his life from a more spiritual perspective. It the one Joseph Campbell centered his career on, "The Hero's Journey". This journey, from a soul perspective, is one all humans are on. Some become conscious of it, some do not, but it involves healing the aspects of ourselves that separate us from God, Source, Creator. As the universe expands, humanity is raising its consciousness from a place of "Power Over Others", to "The Power of Love". We no longer feel fear of death (or anything else), abandonment, mistrust, etc. because we feel our eternal selves. Each moment holds an opportunity to choose love over fear (hate). I have rarely seen individuals in this state of authenticity and detachment from the need to be right, or conform to norms. Never mind in someone running for president. He truly listens and doesn't just kiss babies, he wants them to have a healthy, more prosperous life here on planet earth. It's time.

pretty sure Israel lobby holds him completely hostage ... which is what i've decided must be the case for every prez... and plenty of other elected leaders in DC, too. in some ways, they hold it more tightly over him now in horrendous ways since we all know they're likely deeply involved in many assassinations going back to JFK & RFK.

it's the only thing that makes any sense. he's a peace advocate. someone/something over which he has no control (and neither does anyone else) is right there behind the veil. it's too obvious. Dennis Kucinich probably just refused to be quiet about his own peace advocacy and couldn't stay on the team under those conditions.

if that is so, it doesn't matter who is in there with 'them.' they're a constant... so someone like RFK Jr who actually has the country's interests at heart... (radical concept for sure!) ... sure beats the others who don't. we'll see.

seems unlikely they won't stop him one way or another... however, he's aware and willing to go ahead. or maybe they've actually run their course and the electorate is not gonna put up with them being in control forever... who knows?

No one can ever find the perfect candidate that agrees with them on every issue, that’s why we have politics, to choose a representative that is as close to our beliefs as possible. RFK Jr was that person for me until he refused to even comment on why he unconditionally supports Zionist Israel as they commit genocide. This is not just another issue because it undermines the entire foundation of his anti-war campaign. His refusal to even address this issue cancels my trust in him. What if AIPAC is against any other of his campaign issues, will he cave on those issues as well? We’re talking about US Zionist support that could result in a World War.

I was horrified by Elon Musk licking Zionist AIPAC’s boots by hosting an hour-long “X” segment with Benjamin Netanyahu agreeing with everything he had to say after losing a few million in advertising revenue engineered by AIPAC. AIPAC will spend enormous amounts of money to primary any congressional candidate that opposes them in any way. I can see why RFK Jr could be intimidated by Zionist AIPAC but maybe RFK Jr actually is a Zionist. This issue is costing him tremendous support and campaign workers that could put him over the top to become president.

Removing AIPAC control over our foreign policy by owning almost every member of congress is the most important thing a future Kennedy President could do.

The Democrats define austerity as not borrowing $2 trillion a year! The solution is to make the upper classes - including the so-called "upper middle class" - pay their fair share. The Democrats think borrowing it from them instead is a no-brainer: money for social spending AND stimulate the economy AND they don't have to get in a fight with people who have the power to fight back. What's not to love?

Like I said, it inflates asset prices more than workers' income. It also increases the power of the already too powerful upper classes. (The Founding Fathers understood the danger of that extremely well, but not the Clinton-Obama-Biden Democrats.) And it sets up a fiscal disaster down the road. (In spite of their utter hypocrisy on the subject, the Republicans are totally correct on that last point.) Triple-ugh!

I assume you support making the upper classes pay their fair share, but your party just gives lip service to it regarding the rich, and not even that for the "upper middle class" (i.e. lower part of the upper class). According to Biden, under $400,000 a year is middle class and they deserve to be protected. "Not one dime" more in taxes.
