Friday News Round Up - RFK Jr. Addresses the Violent Tragedy in Maine by Calling for Americans to Pray for Each Other – While His Own Safety Is Threatened Again
“I’d like to ask politicians and commentators to pause and feel for a while, before enrolling this awful tragedy into their narratives on gun control, mental health, terrorism, or anything else. Sometimes it is best not to try to make sense of things too quickly.… Let’s pray for the families and ask God’s grace for each other and for our country.” – RFK Jr.
As you all know, on Wednesday night a man shot eighteen people to death and wounded thirteen others in Lewiston, Maine – Maine mass shooting: What we know about suspect Robert Card | ABC News.
Also on Wednesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a candidate for President of the United States and a man who lost his uncle and his father to assassination, had his home invaded two times by the same man. Here is some of the coverage:

Our own journalist extraordinaire John Leake posted an article on The Kennedy Beacon as quickly as he could – Breaking News: Intruder Arrested Twice Wednesday at Kennedy’s home | The Kennedy Beacon.
“Yesterday an intruder climbed the fence at my home and was arrested,” the independent presidential candidate tweeted Thursday. “After being released from police custody later in the day, he immediately returned to my home and was arrested again.”
The Los Angeles Police Department identified the alleged trespasser as 28-year-old Jonathan Macht of Pacific Palisades, California. RFK Jr. begs Biden admin for Secret Service protection after intruder arrested at his home – twice | NY Post. “Every presidential administration for 55 years has afforded early protection to candidates who requested it. The Biden administration is the sole outlier,” the campaign claims.
Kennedy spoke out about the reality of violence in our divided country rather than focusing on his own situation. He asked us to pray for the victims, for their families, and for God’s grace.
I ask all of you to pray for President Biden to put political machinations aside, use common sense, and grant RFK Jr. Secret Service protection.
Today’s Kennedy news:
Tim Donner – “In the end, the question becomes whether Robert F. Kennedy Jr. can succeed by being far off the beaten path, nonpartisan, unfailingly earnest, serious as the day is long, and to many, conspiracy theories aside, relentlessly honest in speaking truth to power—and doing so while appearing unconcerned about attracting scorn and ridicule. He may not get to be president of the United States, but he sure as heck will have an outsized influence on who does.” – The RFK Jr. Factor: Profound But Uncertain – Op-ed | Eurasia Review.

Today’s attacks against Kennedy come from different parts of the political landscape:
Lobbyist Bill Wirtz, in an opinion piece published by The Hill, criticizes Kennedy for describing the EPA as being a captured agency and defends the toxic pesticide glyphosate – “RFK has been on the warpath against glyphosate for a long time, motivated by his erroneous belief that the compound is linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. As a lawyer, he has been able to extract millions from agro-chemical giant Monsanto through a lawsuit. However, convincing a jury is a different game than convincing a scientific body such as the EPA, which upholds that ‘there are no risks of concern to human health when glyphosate is used in accordance with its current label’ and that ‘glyphosate is unlikely to be a human carcinogen.’” – In defense of the EPA’s independence | The Hill. So, people who support the continued use of toxins oppose RFK Jr. I guess we will have to just accept that.
In this next article, Donald Trump Jr. goes after Kennedy – “‘He should be much more of a threat to Joe Biden than to us,’ Trump Jr. said Thursday. But he warned that MAGA supporters shouldn’t be fooled into warming up to Kennedy because of his well-documented skepticism toward vaccines. ‘Once you actually look at his voting record, you’re like, no, he’s just a liberal that is anti-vax,’ Trump Jr. said, pointing toward Kennedy’s stances on reparations, immigration and guns. He added, ‘Being anti-vax, I don’t think that’s enough.’” – Donald Trump Jr. goes after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Iowa appearance | NBC News.
Please show the following to people who believe former president Trump’s claim that he would not have mandated the COVID vaccines he claims credit for creating. The Democratic Party's propaganda machine will use this tragedy in arguing for gun control that, if successful, would facilitate imposition of totalitarian rule over the American people by the Democratic Party!
