What about Cohen and Walensky’s personal culpability? It baffles me that officials are not held personally responsible. It begs the question: what are their backgrounds and how are they related to the pharmaceutical industry?

For all of this to merely be considered "incompetence" at the CDC stretches credulity. There's clearly a war against citizens throughout the west and CDC is one of many agencies taking part. Therefore, the most willing sellouts (who likely are incompetent) are placed in these positions for being capable of lying through their teeth for extra cash and future promises because they have no principles. The rot of corruption permeates our entire society.

The article does not deliver. It makes minimal effort to explain why the FBI and CDC took so little effort to clean up the dangerous biolab at Reedley. It asserts there may have been a "cover-up" and that the head of the CDC may be "incompetent". Neither would explain failure to examine vials inside a refrigerator marked "Ebola" on the basis that the vials were not labelled, and then stating that "no evidence" of Ebola was found.
I think the point the article is making is that there IS NO explanation for these 'failures'. so-called authorities are not explaining their behavior so anyone else attempting to would merely be speculation.
Was the owner extradited to Canada? Were the mice not also incinerated? Why not? Who knows what the mice were carrying? Remember the initial presentation was that he and his family became sick after he handled the mice not after he handled the chemicals. There must be criminal punishment and costs to slow down the construction and maintenance of these unregulated biolabs in the future. The new law is a small start.
