I would encourage Dr. Bhattacharya to carefully read the book by J.B. Handley: How to End the Autism Epidemic. He needs to examine the plethora of cited research in that book with a critical eye. I can't believe that he can discount the eyewitness accounts from thousands (or more) of parents who observed the change in their children following vaccination. It is temporally associated, biologically plausible, and there is no other adequate explanation.

agree, he definitely needs to broaden the scope of the research that's he's read on the topic, that's for sure. the data IS out there but you won't find it if you aren't looking

Shame on Bernie Sanders. Love Rand Paul!

Mark Baiiley was criticizing Rand Paul over gain of fiction. He said the narrative was problematic because it made people think there must be something there:

Why aren't you wearing your fruit? Do your bit to protect the vulnerable.. We need to double down on mandatory fruits and herbs to achieve "community immunity". We could talk about how the anti orange juice movement got that way but first they need to be brought to heal.

Wow! Well liked rats and cocaine? I’m dying to find out the results! 😆🤣What nonsense! We are blessed that Dr. Bhattacharya would want this position, to head up this helter skelter research institution that I thought was the end all in proper research grants. He is the voice of reason and objectivity. I feel confident he’ll be confirmed and we’re all in for a major shift in research for PREVENTION as opposed to Big Pharma drug bandaids. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Bernie is a washed up tired old crook.. he along with so many others like Pelosi should be under indictment.. for taking bribes and doing so much insider trading.. nothing but scoundrels leading the dying Democratic Party.. pathetic beyond belief... with what Musk and his team will reveal in just the next few months will completely destroy any possibility of the midterms being anything but another Red wave across the nation...

The pharmaceutical company "gold standard" study.

Dr Paul Marik "If you think about it. The pharmaceutical companies design the study and they design it for whatever outcome they want. They then conduct the study and conduct it in a way that it will give them the outcome. They then evaluate the outcome so that they get the outcome they want. They analyze the data so it creates the outcome they want and then they get ghost writers to write the paper producing the outcome they want. It's a completely bogus system and till there is more transparency and we change the way clinical studies are done - Unfortunately, I don't think you can really believe anything you read."

“There’s a concern the current system incentivizes established scientists who study already proven concepts rather than younger scientists who have unproven ideas with potential as major medical breakthroughs,” Cassidy stated.”

Proven concepts eh? Does this include those conclusions reached in the MMR study highlighted in the film Vaxxed where whistleblower William Thompson spilled the beans on how the CDC destroyed data which would inconveniently show that there is a link to autism? And why has congress virtually banned him from ever testifying about this catastrophic display of corruption?

When questioned by Sen. Cassidy, Dr. B. also said he doesn't think vaccines cause autism. Maybe he should brush up on the topic.

He kinda had to say that. Many Republicans would have a hard time voting for him if he took that stance at this point. When all the research and true transparency is brought to bear, the link will be undeniable.

Who else would they vote for? No there is no "vaccines". The German high court did not find proof for the existence of the "virus" in the paper underpinning the entire field of virology. Without evidence of a virus there isn't evidence of a vaccine.

100%. you can't say something is NOT caused by a specific thing, unless you've proven what it IS caused by. the flawed logic is so glaring.

I hope an investigation will be done into the $42 million research grant that was supposed to only be for fibromyalgia research in the late 1990s. When the chronic fatique syndrome/fibromyalgia community in Wisconsin pushed for research in the late 1990s, Congress provided $1 per person with such chronic illness for research for scientific research grants=$42 million.

However when that community found scientists in early 2000s who were willing to study what the community voted on as the highest suspected cause, these scientists were told that all the grant money had already been used up and none was available. They were unable to get the money that had been set-aside and ear-marked only for RESEARCH ON FIBROMYALGIA and CHRONIC FATIQUE SYNDROME. No research had been done.

When elected officials wrote letters inquiring what happened to that money in very early 2000s, they were not informed. NIH did not provide an elected Representative from Wisconsin with the proper information.

The fibro community is still waiting for that answer. What did Tony Fauci or Redfield do with that money? Where did it disappear?

From what I’ve heard from Dr. Bhattacharya, he believes in the scientific process, which means consensus, profits or political concerns are not what should dictate research funding decisions. For example, if the situation suggests that the cause of Autism or Alzheimer’s are not greatly understood, then non-biased research needs and will be conducted and supported with NIH dollars. Until a disease is fully understood and working treatments that limit harm developed or cures discovered, scientific studies need to be continue. If the profits of Big Pharma and the graft of corrupt politicians, doctors and scientists is allowed to continue, you can expect much of the same with respect to the health of Americans and the trajectory of healthcare costs.

Let us hope NIH research will ask and be able to answer the question of which medical approach will do more for health, economy, and culture in the long run: lifestyle or biotech.

All these new health agency’s picks are treading water carefully, not getting too far out ahead of the research from within the agencies themselves. Once in, the wheels will grind slowly, and I recall it was estimated it takes 15 years for physicians to change their recommendations based on new data. Given pHARMa influence, capture, etc. this will be a generation or two to fully shift gears.
