Whenever I feel hopeless about our country and the direction it has taken I am renewed when I listen to the wisdom and deeply thoughtful caring in Robert’s words. None of the candidates for the office of president can compare to this man. We must elected him if we are to emerge from the din of confusion in which we now find ourselves.

you are correct, there is no comparison nor should there be

I realize thoughtful caring is important to you. What is important to others is

who is the frontrunner and why they hate him so much. Confusion was but one solution,

that would be clarity.

Anita, why complain about a different subject when the article is about the best environmental candidate in our lifetime. Let's celebrate that huh? Kennedy is intelligent enough to change his views as he does more research...For his part, Kennedy explained how he has re-thought some of his earlier environmental ideas. I believe he will realize that the Gaza issues are older than he is and that even most jews are not zionists. He is still my peace candidate.

Really, one can simply change views on things and celebrate? That is called flip flopping and is anything but Presidential. War supporting peace candidate that might figure this out??

Logic to rossny.

We are nature, but the prevailing view has been that we are somehow separate from it. Thank you RFK and NS for recognizing the truth.

A country is governed by making policies, possibly including environmental policies, where a "policy" is a definite course of action. To make a policy, the maker of this policy must have the means by which he or she can predict the outcomes of the events of the future for the physical system that is to be governed by this policy, for example, Earth's climate system. In building this model, the builder of it is prone to selecting the set of inferences that will by made by it about the conditional outcomes of the events of the future for the physical system that is to be modelled through usage of one or another intuitive rules of thumb called "heuristics," of which "maximum simplicity (Occam's razor) is an example. However, on each occasion in which a particular heuristic selects a particular set of inferences for being made by the model, a different heuristic selects a different set of inferences for being made by this model. In this way, the method of heuristics violates the Law of Non-Contradiction (LNC). The LNC is amongst Aristotle's three Laws of Thought.

The only alternative to usage of a heuristic is usage of the Principles of Reasoning that were discovered by the late theoretical physicist Ronald Arlie Christensen in the 1960s. These principles solve the ancient, previously unsolved Problem of Induction, where the problem is of how, in a logically permissible way, to select the set of inferences that will be made by the model from a larger set of possibilities. Christensen's solution to this problem is for the induced model to represent all of the available information about the conditional outcomes of the events of the future but no more. Today, however, the Method of Heuristics is almost always used for this purpose. This phenomenon is burdening the American people with public policies that are hostile to their continued existence. Amongst these policies are the Biden administration's energy, economic, public health, defense and border control policies.

You might have pointed to didactic reasoning and the philosopers that advanced it. Your post is way North of 95% of Beaconites, and has little to do with the Pres. bid of RFK.

He is hardly at the point of policies

If Kennedy were not espousing Zionist views, imagine the following he would have now among

young voters and others. I still follow the campaign and hope he makes the debates. Is that a

possibility?

Expand full comment

Kennedy does not " espouse Zionist views" and he has a tremendous following among young voters and others!!

The likelihood of a three-way debate with Biden and Trump is dim; primarily because those running the show know that Kennedy would clean their clocks!

And he would do it brilliantly and benevolently.

Really Martha, I should save your post to serve you lunch at a later date.

Those running da show? Yeah Martha got it.

Definitely true that regen ag and organic farming are the way forward, but was that not just as

true 40 years ago?? Why did it take so long for him to figure this out?? Some of us did 50 years ago and we were not early. War advocacy?? Front row and center

Coincidentally, a friend asked me yesterday about Meta AI, and today's post email has a glitch in it that is showing the code for the Meta Pixel Code (instead of it being hidden as usual).

Do you mean the Kennedy Beacon post that came in an email? I noticed that too and wrote them asking about itZ

Yes. Those are typical on web pages. I haven't checked to see if other posts have it and this one just has a syntax error, or if it's wrong syntax for the email.
