I watched the full debate, and it was informative in that it showed the following:
How skilled Newsom is at not answering questions;
How Newsom's temporary role during the primaries (before the big reveal of him as VP or other "unexpected" need arises) is to be a mouthpiece for Biden's policies and campaign;
How ambiguous ideological platitudes have become acceptable substitutes for fact-based discourse and/or solutions; and,
How the two-party system is being run aground by weaponized ideology and tribalism.
We need to change course soon, with leaders that will stop focusing on the divisive issues, and actually get to work. There's much to be done.
Thx for that! I stopped listening to all the naysayers when it comes to Kennedy and Dore was one of them. Maybe I live in la-la land but I hope Kennedy will come around and change his mind on his beliefs! Still going to vote for him and campaign for him. I like a lot of what RFKjr stands for, including his purely environmental efforts. But, a few recent articles, here on the Beacon and elsewhere, have begun to elaborate on his stance on so called 'climate change'. Even though I'll probably cast for him in the primary, he lost any further support right there.
The one thing I can say for sure about this debate is that Newsom would have no chance if he replaced Biden. As long as he takes the tactic that the economy is great while the vast majority of Americans are suffering, that will just shift more people to Trump and Kennedy. These elite pigs are insulated from food prices that have gone up 30%. When most of your budget is private planes and $800 dinners, what does it matter if chicken is a couple dollars more a pound?
One word to describe this, Horrible. DeSantis that owes his position as governor to Trumps support is running against Trump, and the Newsome, another evil snake, is positioning himself to replace Biden at the convention, while pretending he is not.
