Kennedy's gotta do something like a "talk to your parents" type of plea. He has a good slice of the youth, and if he can get them to talk with their parents about backing Kennedy, that couldn't hurt, and might help a lot. I know with my parents, both staunch Democrats who think he's a kook, when I started talking to them about him, it changed their perception. They are still not backing Kennedy, but at least they are no longer looking at him as lesser than Trump. Boomers and the Silent generations have been so bamboozled by the TV set that they need someone close to them to zap out of that lame worldview.

Great idea, "talk to your parents." Keep it up!

Hearing is believing, so encourage them and others to just listen to him. Listen to his podcasts, interviews and speeches. Try the one I linked below of his recent talk at the Nixon Library. Remind people, especially those of the baby boomer generation who only get their 'news' from mainstream, corporate-controlled sources, that those sources have been hijacked by their primary advertisers, and RFK poses a threat to their corrupt hegemony so they block and disparage him. "The News" isn't what it used to be, and legacy journalism has been bought and gutted.

LISTENING will change hearts and minds. Take the time to listen. Set aside Netflix and networks for an evening or two, and listen to what he says, not what others say about him.

Yea, I think if Kennedy made the case to his young supporters to talk to their parents it could make significant headway. There’s lots of creative ideas he could do around it to, such as commitments (these cost nothing!), dates-to-do-by, and thereafter testimonials, or even videos of them talking with their parents. Lots of ways to do it to bypass the gateway TV media problem.

The corruption in Washington thrived under both Presidents Trump and Biden.

Both major parties and their nominees, whoever they end up being, are funded by the behemoths and are unable to break free.

Former President Trump may have made some noble promises, like draining the swamp, but he lacks the capacity to deliver and so he appointed swampsters throughout his administration. His main advisor now is from big pharma.

We ought to do something different if we hope to have different results. No matter who the Democratic and Republican nominees end up being, it's a choice between more of the same, or something different and better.

The remedy is Kennedy. He's successfully fought corruption and malfeasance for 40 years and knows how to do it.

Nobody else has the expertise, vision and fearlessness to actually drain the swamp, and nobody else would be allowed to by their funders pulling the strings.

Don't pay attention to the nay-sayers deployed to spread doubt, antagonism and confusion. RFK all the way.

I encourage everyone to listen to this phenomenal speech Bobby gave recently at the Nixon Library and Museum. Unparalleled insight, eloquence, inspiration and wisdom -- and a stunning understanding of history and how we got to be at our current precipice.

A very good speech indeed! Memorable in that he was speaking truth to power in a Republican venue. Good on the library and exactly that which should be occurring everywhere. Unity not duplicity. 💫

Kennedy has been everywhere, done everything, and knows everyone. Exaggerating there a bit to drive home my point, namely, that he is hands down the best qualified candidate to serve as president. He's the only one with the experience, political savvy, drive and connections to have a chance of reversing the coup of 1963, or of even caring to try.

Alas, he is gung ho for Israel to a degree that beggars belief. How can a guy otherwise smart and capable of learning spout long-debunked myths about Israel? He's apparently unreachable by those who have tried to reason with him, like Dennis Kucinich. That's the first problem he presents, as far as I'm concerned.

The second one is this rationalization: we're going to have a Zionist President no matter what, so you might as well vote for him if you like his policies otherwise. Vote for a guy who makes you feel you want America fixed even at the cost of wholesale murder of another people? Not a great feeling.

Or do we just vote for the guy on the hope that he will have a road-to-Damascus epiphany if he wins the election?

I haven't decided. A lot can happen before November 5.

P.S. If you read his engaging autobiography, American Values, you'll see that my first sentence is not such a big exaggeration compared to all other candidates. The book is not a pile of platitudes about "American Values," as its title suggests.

I say we don’t vote for anyone who doesn’t oppose the genocide. If we vote, it just lets them know that genocide isn’t a red line. It doesn’t take priority over pronouns and trying to control the weather. They will know they can commit genocide and Americans will still vote for a candidate. It’s part of the way the system is controlled. They dangle divisive things like abortion so they can carry out genocide. People will look away from the genocide if their candidate promises them something impossible with regard to fixing the economy. I’m convinced that foreign policy needs to become the number one domestic issue. It’s destroying our country, not to mention the world.

For years the thing I most wanted to hear from any politician was "We must decouple from Israel." So it kills me when Kennedy cites Washington's farewell address for the wisdom of his advice to avoid foreign entanglements and in his next breath, so to speak, gushes over genocidal Israel like a teenager in love. I think you're right that our foreign policy is destroying our country.

Kennedy isn’t an outsider. Like the other two candidates, he is a Zionist, Israel first, genocidal tool. All three compete with how submissive they can be to the interests of Israel.

Just stop! Israel first?! Give us a break!! #kennedy24

Um? If any politician puts the genocidal interests of an apartheid state (Israel) ahead of the interests of the U.S. by supporting the use of tax money to subsidize that state, that is Israel first. RFk is a tool and no one should vote for him; no one should vote for Biden or Trump either. Genocide should be a red line. Americans need to take back the electoral system; and that can only come about if people stop feeding the politicians who monopolize it.

Can you give your definition of a Zionist is one sentence? Have you heard a word he has said since last October and if you have, what have you heard him say that you think he supports genocide? Thx. #kennedy24

A Zionist is someone who supports the goal that the original self-identified Zionists had when they carried out an ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948– A majority Jewish state in Palestine that gives special rights to Jews.

Rfk Jr:

“I think Israel’s war on Gaza is a moral war.”

https://youtu.be/gvWgjUKsSws?si=SgcOdmHSHsJoqq0L

Anyone who says Israel’s genocide is moral, supports a genocide.

“We must provide Israel whatever it needs to defend itself”

https://youtu.be/-HBqgmB52wU?si=J-Fuc3GGwQE1R1Zs

Anyone who supports providing military and/or financial assistance to the government of Israel while it commits genocide supports genocide.

By the way, that one video you shared is 8 months old. Didn’t listen to it because he has changed his thinking since then.

Expand full comment

I gave you two videos one from like a month ago and one from shortly after October 7th. And there is no evidence I’m aware of he has changed his mind since then. It’s your turn to show the video where he says he doesn’t support “giving whatever it needs to defend itself.” Otherwise that position stands.

And im not “progressive”, im independent. And I think opposing genocide is more important than any of those “progressive” priorities like trying to change the weather.

The only reason he hasn’t signed off on anything for Zionists is because he has never been in office. Everything he says suggests he would be signing off on anything related to the genocide of Gaza.

It just sounds like you’re “progressive” except for when it comes to Palestine. Then you find genocide negotiable. It is of course your legal right to campaign for a genocide supporter, albeit id argue it’s not morally right.

People shouldn’t vote for Biden Trump or RFK jr. Red lines. Otherwise they will continue to win.

Thx. I’m going to leave you a comment I came across and agree with. I will keep campaigning and fighting for Kennedy.

As a "practical" progressive you must evaluate the entire political spectrum and determine whose victory will move the needle in a "progressive" direction the most. When Bobby's viewed thru that lens it's not even close who's the best overall candidate.. the Orange Fauxssiah signed off on 16B in Military aid to the Zionists and signed off o. A1.2 trillion tax break for the 1%ers GenJoe the Bloody Blue Warmonger has signed off on over 201B on wars including over a total now of over 37B to the Zionists and left that tax break in place and turned a blind eye while his Big Everything handlers price gouged the life out of the people and increased military spending every year during his terms to where it now stands at close ti 1 TRILLION annually.

Bobby hasn't signed off on a dime to the Zionist and has promised a negotiated end to the Ukrainian conflict as well as a complete audit of all military spending for the purpose of drastic reduction in it.

We know what the last 8 years have meant...and we know what 4 more years of either of red or blue being elected will mean, not only for Palestine but for America. There's really no comparison...Bobby's the One for We the People of America and the world.

US Genocide in little Gaza -- ~ 500,000 dead so far ?

The United Nations has declared a state of famine across all of Gaza, attributing it to Israel's intentional starvation campaign against the Palestinian people, which UN experts have labeled as a form of genocidal violence. The situation has resulted in significant casualties, including the deaths of children due to hunger and malnutrition. Israel's military operations, aimed at eliminating Hamas, have led to the destruction of civilian infrastructure, including schools and shelters, and have displaced many residents. Calls for international intervention, humanitarian aid, and sanctions against Israel have intensified amid the escalating conflict.

Kennedy can't win if they cheat, and with $10billion in it, they will get what they paid for.

If you follow the money, you'll see how things really work, and how unlikely it is that promised changes could even be considered.

"The election of Barack Obama, an unknown senator and a black man, is one of the first manifestations of the public’s yearning for change. He promoted change but he didn’t deliver. The Occupy Wall Street protesters of a decade ago and the middle-class blue-collar workers who delivered Donald Trump the 2016 presidency are strikingly similar in their angst. Both groups believe that the government isn’t working for them and that they are getting the shaft."
