While the Supreme Court is making valid and sane judgements, perhaps the political monopoly of the parties might be challenged as well. Is their monopoly constitutional?
The Democrat party wants to eliminate ALL opposition, and they'll use any illegal and unconstitutional means to accomplish this.
Democrats want RFK, Jr and Trump gone. They know that both are more popular than the corrupt puppet currently pretending to be president. They know that the majority of Americans are fed up with the insanities, corruption and treason of the Biden regime.
Thank you Bobby, for these words of wisdom and support for our Constitution and the fragile fabric of our union at this moment. “If Trump is kept out of office through judicial fiat rather than being defeated in a fair election, his supporters will never accept the result. This country will become ungovernable.” You're wisdom is needed in the leadership of our country right NOW. I pray for the wisdom of our court justices.
Congratulations for penning a balanced article. The Beacon can only shine if other authors learn a few things. RFK accurately maintains that keeping candidates off the ballot is undemocratic and unAmerican. Bellows is clearly a tyrant, and must be outed.
The Democratic Party is finished beyond restoration, we have RFK to thank, but also DJT.
Coming out agains lawfare would be useful expose as RFK would also be targeted if the Dems actually thought him a threat.
The Trump bread & circuses are just Uniparty fodder for partisans that like to get super polarized. At most, the Uniparty will win immunity or some other sly *win*.
I say it every time, "NOTHING with happen to Trump." It is annoying to find we are 8 years into the *Trump is a threat to the Uniparty* scam and people still believe he's an outsider. He gifted their votes to Biden in front of their faces! He had Rudy, and Roger Stone make a total mockery of his voters. He set his supporters up on 1/6, told them to go to the Capitol, "Follow law & order!", and then law & order waved his supporters inside.
They go to jail, Trump doesn't. They pay his bills for horrible legal representation while the little guy who voted for him rots for trespassing.
OTOH...RFK Jr has to fight to get on every ballot and STILL has to pay for his own security.
I am dying for the people that claim to be 'awake' to stop dreaming they are awake. They are more soundly asleep than they've ever been. They just love Trump sooo much and don't have the courage to admit they were totally conned by Don the Con.
I feel compelled to point out that these are two entirely different issues. I was really glad to see the Supreme Court decision about Colorado. But that doesn't really have anything to do with RFK (who I will likely vote for) collecting signatures within 250 feet of a polling place. When I was a polling place worker in Wyoming, we were told that people could not wear campaign buttons, T-shirts, or hats in or near the polling place. Collecting signatures could be considered similar advocacy.

Good question. It certainly is a monopoly!
And I don't see it enshrined in the Constitution.

This infuriates me. If I lived in Maine, no matter who I support, this is the right of voters NOT self aggrandizing politicians 😡
