"Bobby’s straight-talking has wide appeal to Americans, including me, who’ve been hoodwinked by politicians for too long. Like one of the C-SPAN callers, I too have been a loyal Democrat for my whole life, but I feel my party—increasingly beholden to its wealthy donors—has deserted me. If the Democratic Party “jams” him, continues to treat him unfairly, and forces him to run as an independent, then I will follow the exit path of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

At my late age, I’m tired of being ruled by the lesser of two evils. I want a president in whom I truly believe."

I am so with you here! Thank you for saying what needs to be said!

Bobby has taken some fabulous controversial stances and I think he knows the true score when it comes to the political theater we are forced to endure. I voted Democrat in 72 as a first time voter and again in 76 for Carter....but that was it for me. Even in my youth I saw where that wind was blowing. Not in the right direction. And it's only gotten worse.

But by 88 I could see that the Republican wind was no better a course. So since 90 I've been a rising skeptic of political theater, talking points and promises....All a farce IMHO.

However, if RFK,Jr. were to make an honest stand for what's right no matter the consequences to his personal life or career I could must a vote for him. No doubt it will not be easy or even successful for him to do this. And I think we all know why. (Mr. Maheux would probably agree as he holds onto his wrist from the grave).

I say, stand up like a man for all seasons Bobby. Let your faith in God and the things you've witnessed over your life span guide you into all truth, because we're running out of time. All of us.

Incredibly well written and said . Thank you for giving voice to me as well -a Republican who will cross party lines and vote for RFK jr under whatever label he runs because he is a fearless courageous truth-teller who inspires me every single day to be a better American citizen and to work more diligently to heal and repair my own community.

David I couldn't have said it better. We need to stop looking at Red v Blue, and turn together on the oligarchs who think they own us and can ignore the Constitution that protects us. Bobby is the only presidential candidate who will even admit to what is going on. A fictional character in the movie Network exclaimed, "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!"

I've never worked for a political candidate in my 71 years. I'm honored to work for this man.

Sometimes it has been the greater of two evils.

Biden & Co. definitely is !!

My democratic friends and family are 100% indoctrinated by the main stream media. Anytime I bring up RFK, they refer to him as a whacko, nut-job, etc. Each time, I try to politely defend and explain a specific accusation and how that's a perceived notion and not the truth. Sometimes the truth is so "unbelievable" to them that they can't conceive it to be true (SMH). But don't give up! RFK has not given up so we must not either!! Keep telling the truth! RFK ALL THE WAY!!!

Same. It’s difficult to know where to begin with them. You try and it’s for nothing because they are steeped in tribalism and lost the ability to look at issues objectively. And the naive trust in mainstream media is responsible .

They really don't like hearing that if they want to win, the one guy who can for sure landslide Donald Trump is staring them right in the face. The guy who might or might not barely squeak it out is the one they're going with on purpose. I don't want to hear them whine about it if we're looking at President Donald Trump again, they will have chosen it themselves.

Maybe you can best reform the party by demonstrating the desperation of life long dems and running independent, Mr Kennedy.

The democratic party of our parents is GONE. Leaving the current democratic party will NOT dishonor your family tradition.

Exactly.

I am 100% with Kennedy, LETS GOOOOOO. Grew as a democrat but they went crazy. To make comments against Kennedy that he is republican for his beliefs, does not make sense. His words resonate common sense and here is the key word, common sense. This is a radical word now days. Well, then, I am radical. Compassion resonates too, and he has that too.

It's standard procedure for the Democrats to label anyone who dares challenge their narrative a "right-winger". It's meaningless at this point—just a trigger-word for the Comfortable Class brainwashed by Rachel Maddow.

I've been voting for fully half a century and NOT ONCE have I been able to vote for a presidential candidate I truly believed in. If RFK Jr. is on the ballot next year, maybe that string of forlorn votes will come to end.

RFK, Jr doesn't have an option: If he wants to be in the general election, he'll have to run as an independent.

The Democrat party simply won't allow him to win the primaries. He could get 100M votes and it won't matter; Democrats will rig it so he doesn't win.

This is a 100% certainty.

The US is ripe for an independent to win the presidency. Tens of millions of Americans don't want either Biden or Trump.

And Trump might not even be on the ballot in some states. Several are already moving to keep him off the ballot. Millions of people will write him in anyway, but those states will reject those votes.

RFK, Jr. has a genuine shot as an independent. He fills an enormous centrist niche.

He has zero chance as a Democrat.

I was a life long democratic voter.

After I voted for Biden/Harris, I saw this monstrous disaster unfolding in front of my eyes. Hurting so many of my fellow American citizens. In many different ways.

No propaganda and continuously repeated messaging could hide it. It was and is there, right in front of my eyes and your eyes too. If you don't see it, then you (subconsciously) choose not to see it. I still don't know how to describe how I felt and still feel, after I saw and still see all the bad things happening to good people. It does not feel right.

The way how I felt and still feel made me realize, despite having been a life long democratic voter, that it was a mistake to blindly put my trust into one believe. I understand now that it is important to critically think about every single candidate and put them under MY microscope, before making a decision. As a result, I do look now at who is the best candidate among ALL candidates. The best candidate to solve problems that are hurting all of us, the best candidate who truly cares about the people (and not their rich and corporate donors only). And I have come to peace with myself if this candidate is not a Democrat. It doesn't matter, because the more important thing that matters is that the candidate truly cares about us, the people, and does what was promised.

At this point, RFK Jr. is at the top of my list. And it doesn't matter to me if he runs as a Democrat, Independent or even as a Republican. It doesn't matter, because no matter what he runs as, he will always care about us, all of us. This is what everyone politician should do and should have done. We have been let down for so long, we need to return being a people centric nation.

I have refused to vote for the 'lesser of two evils' and have chosen non-participation in the election process for almost 20 years. Kennedy makes me want to vote. For him.

Both Trump and Biden are disliked by the majority of voters. If there is a viable alternative like RFK jr then maybe we can finally be rid of both. I for one will vote for RFK jr before either Trump or Biden.

There is another possible way to defeat US War Uni-party and a path to victory...

-- DNC will prevent RFK victory in primaries. About 40% of Dems might be very pissed off.

-- Trump after winning GOP primary should state that he would be honored to offer and make a firm commitment to make RFK his Attorney General.

-- Perhaps 90% of Independents (they are nearly 50% of voters) and up to 40% of Dems might vote for Trump in general election – erasing RINO GOP voters who would be against RFK as AG.

Trump, US population and Kennedy overwhelmingly win… And - the US Uni-party is destroyed, and US politics disinfected.

I like your idea, and I think it would be in our country's best interest, but RFK, Jr. has said that his wife will divorce him if he works/runs with Trump (People were asking RFK, Jr. to run as Trump's VP.) Maybe it was only a jest, I don't know. If it was true, it may have been a "personality differences" thing, or it may have had something to do with the abortion issue, since Trump is against abortion.

I believe Kennedy should publicly state that he will only consider a third party run if the Democratic Party picks a candidate that does not have a history of the parties values. That leaves him room to continue the popularity movement right up to the line where he divides the party. At that point it may end up to gathering all the value based Democrats into one large group that will even make the Republicans willing to talk with him.
