How ridiculous that CNN is controlling the American consciousness in this election via rigging presidential debates that everyone knows voters will rely on to choose the next president. It is outrageous. The whole process just like every other important institution should be carefully controlled by the American people to make sure it is fair and serves the needs of the people. There should be rules that the people agree to, not that the media makes up.
That's the point. They should not be running election events that can choose or eliminate contenders. Letting them host the debates is a way of rigging the election. It's absurd.
Since neither Biden nor Trump will be on any ballots by the time of the first debate, CNN is allowing them to participate under the assumption that they will both be their party's presumptive nominees. It seems that because Kennedy has amassed enough signatures to collect over 270 electoral votes, he should be given the same presumptive courtesy. In fact, Biden might withdraw and Trump might be in jail. So, it's all pretty much presumption at this point.
