If the Democrats really cared about democracy and fair elections and good, vigorous campaigns that give people a good sense and understanding of what candidates stand for and how they think, they would have spend the time and money they immorally expend on keeping competition off the ballot, and work on Ranked Choice Voting, which eliminates the “Spoiler Effect”.

If they truly believed they were working in the interest of the electorate and they had the best policies, that would stand up to the rigors of debate, that’s what they would do!

I've often wondered why Biden hasn't taken Kennedy's ideas and implemented them before the election. That would be a better way to "win".

Biden is a demented puppet!! He just wants to hang on to power!! They are scared of Bobby!

Yes, of course, but he's been around so long I figured he would have learned to take the winning ideas and get credit for them to boost his campaign. I guess he's not as savvy as he thinks he is.

I don’t think he is running the country!

What? Are they worried the mail in ballots aren’t going to work?

Your comment about the Biden administration undertaking the most federal drilling in history, as reported by CNN is not only false, but the CNN link you cite doesn’t reflect this position at all.

Also, CNN’s position that more oil and gas production occurred under Obama/Biden than Trump is misleading at best. A large majority of domestic oil and gas production occurs on privately owned lands - the feds have zero influence nor control as to oil and gad exploration on those lands.

Endorsing Biden because you see Trump as an existential threat makes no sense. Replacing Biden with a sharp, anti-corruption candidate would be the thing to do in that case.

The fact that the DNC won’t replace Biden with RFK Jr. tells us their real fear is an end to their racket.

I think a good motivator for people to vote would be education about what happens when none of the candidates get 270 electoral votes. Realizing that the choice then goes to the House of Representatives would really wake people up.

The part I'm unsure of is whether it is the existing House or the newly elected House that "votes".

I know I'll likely offend fans of the Green Party, because I always do, but their perpetual whining about how mean the Democrats, keeping them off ballots, has more than grown tired. They've been doing elections for more than 30 years, yet they're still apparently so ignorant of the rules for getting on all 50 ballots they make stupid mistakes like happened in Texas. And these are supposed to be the kind of educated intellectuals who think they could run the country better than anyone else?

Let's be realistic. The Green Party of the US, in its current and previous incarnations, is essentially a social club for Comfortable Class intellectuals who can't be bothered to do the hard, dirty work necessary to become an actual political organization. Their outreach to anyone outside their clubhouse is nil, they seem to believe they should get a pass about following the rules that were instated specifically to prevent them from getting on ballots, then proclaim themselves victims of a vast conspiracy as if that's going to suddenly garner them the broad voter base they should have been building the last three decades.

If the goal is to cast a pointless vote designed to signal one's high principles and superior virtue, the Greens are just the "party" to allow that, and that's all they're good for.

All 'Lawyer's'; RFK Jr included, give themselves a "bad name" by virtue of being a 'Lawyer'.

It is the ideal that Lawyers are inherently good if they're not obviously bad that is puerile unintelligent absurdity. Lawyers are all inherently manipulative which makes them inherently dishonest. Lawyers manipulate Law and the uninitiated public's understanding of Law in practice.

Law is a function of Logic - opinion is moot-point. Law is not the ability to lie and get away with it using inherently manipulative and deceptive sophistry and vacuous Logical fallacy - yet Logically fallacious sophistry is an art to be mastered by the "best" Lawyers. Skilled Lawyer's endeavor to be masters of the Sophist school. The trial of O.J. Simpson is a great example of a three ring circus of Sophistry & a travesty of Law and Justice perpetrated by Lawyers.

Did RFK Jr. not say, in regard to Climate change, that "Climate deniers should be jailed"...

As long a Sophistry exists there will be a vital place in the public discourse for polemics, and the Polemicist to free the minds of the sheeple, into becoming Free thinking People.
