Thursday News Round Up – RFK Jr.’s Stunning Rise in the Polls Shows That America Believes in His Independent Populist Movement
“I’m going to build coalitions from both sides of the isle. And except for the small minority of public officials that are actually corrupt, I’m going to tell you this secret: They too want liberation from the system that has captured them. And isn’t that ultimately what we all want? Liberation from a system that robs us of our wealth, our health, our hope, our patriotism, our ideals, our freedoms and ultimately our sense of ourselves as a good and capable people. Is healing our divided nation possible? Let’s go take back our country.” – RFK Jr.

The Washington Examiner’s Peter Laffin writes that “voters deserve to have him participate in the presidential debates next fall – indeed, their sentiments in these polls demand it. For a nation mired in a tribalistic discourse, it would be difficult to conceive of anything healthier than to witness a fresh, if unpredictable, voice interact with elderly party figureheads whose axes grind us into ever deeper levels of national acrimony.” – Let RFK Jr. debate | Washington Examiner

Today’s recommended podcast interviews:
It takes courage to answer difficult questions like the ones in both of these podcast segments. RFK Jr. does not pretend to be a perfect person. He advised all of us back in April that he has had real struggles in his life. Kennedy also told us that he would tell us the truth, and that is exactly what he does here.

We are fast approaching the sixtieth anniversary of President Kennedy’s assassination. I expect that we will again see the film footage from that grim day on our televisions and computer screens. It is important to remember JFK’s death, but more important to remember how he lived. President Kennedy embraced environmentalism even when it meant challenging powerful corporate interests of the chemical industry. JFK championed the work of Rachel Carson, the author of Silent Spring, a seminal book in the environmental movement. Please read this marvelous article from the Audubon Society: Rachel Carson and JFK, an Environmental Tag Team | Audubon.
This is the history that RFK Jr. draws upon. It has infused his life’s work.

RFK Jr. was my first choice. However, he is against ceasefire in Gaza and talked a lot of Neocon points against Iran! I am Armenian-Iranian-American Citizen. US and CIA ruined Iran and all the wars of Israel in the Middle East to Africa. I am done with all the politicians.
None of the candidates are against the Genocide in Gaza. Vivek Ramaswamy is the only one that is anti-war and anti-aid to other countries, because he knows that we need our Taxpayer money to be spend here in US and US citizens. Specifically after $33+ trillion in debt.
If Vivek is the nominee, I will vote for him. If he isn't, I will write his name down.
The people on the left side of the isle, the socialists, are promoters of social justice but, as the economist Thomas Sowell points out in his recently published book, the agenda of the socialists does not make poor people richer but rather makes them poorer.
