The legacy media, which is clearly aligned with the Biden administration and the DNC Machine, start every article about RFK, Jr. with phrases such as “conspiracy theorist” or “vaccine skeptic.” Team Deep State is always warning people about the dangers of listening to RFK, Jr. What is that the Team Deep State fears?

Simply put, the truth.

What I hear reflected in comments on the Kennedy Beacon and in people I talk to around town is that RFK, Jr. is regarded as being honest and authentic. Campaigning on telling people the truth should not be a revolutionary concept but in 2023, it is. We kick off our positive RFK, Jr. news with this recent Joe Rogan Podcast. Both Rogan and Ice Cube agree, “He’s definitely on a more noble route.”

Ice Cube and Rogan discuss the decisions RFK, Jr. has made to stand up for people that others have abandoned - the mothers of children who were injured by vaccines, people suffering from mercury and pesticide poisoning, fisherman who saw their livelihoods ravage by industrial polluters. To defend these people, Kennedy had to take on powerful interests. This has not been the easy route but as Rogan and Ice Cube point out, it has been the noble one. Now, to reform the Democratic Party and restore the nation, RFK, Jr. has to take on the DNC Machine.

One article in Fact Check caught my eye. Jessica McDonald, Fact Check’s Science Editor, attacks RFK, Jr. - Fact Checking Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - FactCheck.org. The piece reads like Pharmaceutical Industry propaganda. I did a quick dive into Fact Check:

Fact Check is an initiative of the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg Public Policy Center (APPC). The Annenberg Center received NIH grant money to promote vaccines - Penn Researchers Receive NIH Grant to ID Barriers to Accepting a Future HIV Vaccine | The Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

The APPC also received grant money from the Google News Initiative to address Covid misinformation - FactCheck.org and Univision Noticias Receive Google Funding to Address COVID Misinformation | The Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania.

The APPC has published extensively on promoting vaccines:

As this report details - Our Funding - FactCheck.org - Fact Check receives significant funding – over $870,000 - from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to promote vaccines. The following statement is repeated throughout the report - “SciCheck’s COVID-19/Vaccination Project is made possible by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The foundation has no control over our editorial decisions, and the views expressed on our website do not necessarily reflect the views of the foundation.”

With that kind of money flowing into Fact Check from pro-vaccine interests, it is hard to imagine the “fact checkers” ever questioning vaccine safety. Editorial control is irrelevant when there is paycheck control.

McDonald attacks RFK, Jr. on a number of issues – too many to detail in the News Round Up – but I will note that her writing had a clear pro-pharma bent to it. For instance, McDonald claimed that Merck “voluntarily” withdrew Vioxx - a drug that killed thousands - from the market. That statement minimizes what Merck really did as this article points out - Merck Manipulated the Science about the Drug Vioxx | Union of Concerned Scientists (ucsusa.org). McDonald then goes on to claim that RFK, jr. is wrong about vaccine safety research but side steps the truth - U.S. Health and Human Services Admits No Childhood Vaccine Has Undergone Pre-Licensing Safety Studies, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Proves - American Faith.

Is Fact Check really acting as an independent, unbiased verifier of facts? Given the money that Fact Check receives to promote vaccines, can they really claim to fairly evaluate RFK, Jr.’s concerns about vaccine safety?

Taibbi is wickedly ironic and brutally honest. Considering the underlying seriousness of Taibbi’s commentary, RFK, Jr.’s peaceful revolution is the only way forward.
