RFK, Jr. Continues Favorability Trend
Half of Democrats want a different candidate than Biden
In a New York Times/Siena College poll, conducted from July 23-27 with 1,329 registered voters nationwide, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. remains favorable compared to other presidential candidates.
Thirty-eight percent found him favorable, while 54 percent found President Biden unfavorable. A high figure of 38 percent, found Biden “very unfavorable”.
Half of Democratic primary voters polled hoped that the party would nominate someone other than Biden. The two main reasons for this wish were Biden’s age and job performance. If Biden is going to be the candidate, 51 percent say that they would be satisfied but not enthusiastic, while only 20 percent would be enthusiastic.
Overall, 34 percent found Kennedy unfavorable. The “very unfavorable” percentage for him was 19, while 10 percent said that they haven’t heard enough about him.
Donald Trump was found to be 55 percent unfavorable, of which 44 percent thought that he is very unfavorable. 41 percent found him favorable. Biden was found 43 percent favorable.
The most unfavorable of Republican candidates is Mike Pence, who was found 58 percent unfavorable.
If the 2024 presidential elections become a rematch between Biden and Trump, it appears to be a tight one according to this poll. Both get 43 percent support, while four percent say that they would vote for another candidate, and six percent say that they would not vote at all if Biden and Trump are the candidates.
Of the Democratic primary voters who answered the poll, 13 percent said that they would vote for Kennedy. 64 percent would vote for Biden and 10 for Marianne Williamson.
An astonishingly high figure, 65 percent, said that the country is headed in the wrong direction. Only 23 percent thought that the country is on the right track.
Thirty-nine percent of the respondents approve of Biden’s job performance. 54 percent disapprove. Of that 54 percent, 42 percent said that they strongly disapprove of Biden’s handling of the presidency.
That’s good news. Hopefully Biden will continue to go down hill now that Devin Archer has testified that he was well aware of and almost certainly benefiting from Hunter’s wheeling and dealing. And if he’s out, then attention will turn to whoever else the DNC and their evil masters want in the White House (Newsom, Michele Obama?). RFK jr becomes a most refreshing alternative to this band of criminals and crackpots.
That being said I hope Bobby will have a discussion with Max Blumenthal about Israel as Jimmy Dore suggested. This matter isn’t all settled - just listen to decent Palestinian human rights advocates and you get an entirely different picture. Israeli lobby is so powerful that most politicians are either afraid to discuss it or are entirely brainwashed. I grew up surrounded by Zionists and can say that there is so much propaganda here. What do you say we just get to the bottom of this very ugly situation which began long ago but remains with us today?
