He's not going to make housing cheaper merely by giving out low interest loans.
Low interest loans are why the prices skyrocketed.
Because he's a stubborn market idealist, he won't stop the stupid speculation in housing that hikes up prices.
Younger voters would be better served if there was a candidate that had a semi socialist platform like FDR ran.
Oh and what's the deal with health care? We pay the most but have worse care than even some socialist third world nations. For profit market based systems on utilities just invites more parasites that pump up pricing and cut service.
