On March 18, the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) will begin hearing arguments in an epochal free speech appeal. At stake is whether the government can direct social media companies to censor and suppress speech and expression that is protected by the First Amendment.
Beginning at 9 a.m. (EST) on the 18th, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) will hold a rally outside the Supreme Court Building at One First Street, NE, in Washington, DC. All free speech advocates are invited to attend this free public event to send a clear message to jurists and policymakers that your right to free speech shall not be infringed by the whims of any administration.
People from all over the country will converge on the Supreme Court Building to support free speech through the exercise thereof.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on a number of platforms, including CHD TV, X and Rumble. CHD TV and CHD’s X account will also broadcast live audio of the oral arguments before the Supreme Court.
Confirmed speakers include Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) founder, filmmaker, and individual-liberties activist Del Bigtree; CHD founder and president Mary Holland; Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance founders Pierre Kory, MD, and Paul Marik, MD; Aaron Kheriaty, MD, director of the Program in Bioethics and American Democracy at the Ethics and Public Policy Center; and libertarian author and publisher Jeffrey Tucker, president of the Brownstone Institute. In the days leading up to the rally, CHD will announce further speakers.
Although censorship surrounding information on COVID-19 from medical doctors, scientists, and researchers was the primary impetus behind the Murthy v. Missouri appeal (formerly known as Missouri v. Biden), evidence presented to the court goes far beyond public health issues. Statements of political support for candidates for public office, satire, commentary on foreign policy, antiwar activism, free speech advocacy, children’s rights advocacy, and criticism of public officials have all been subject to censorship at the direct behest of the Biden administration.
SCOTUS will hear arguments on why this is a violation of the First Amendment.

The manner in which the government has opposed the freedom of the speech has been disgusting. (I would have said deplorable, but I don't want to use words associated with a different political candidate.) If a government lacks the ability to protect the freedoms guaranteed to its citizens, then that government has lost much of its legitimacy.
I recognize that I will sometimes be loud in my defense of liberty and freedom. That is because I also recognize that when government aligns itself against what they promised us, they need to be changed from the outside. Because they will not be changed from the inside.
